Our experience with Heritage Academy has been wonderful so far. The teachers are excellent and my children are always excited to go to school each day. I really appreciate the rigorous coursework, as it provides the level of academic challenge and preparation I want for my children. Overall, we have

Posted by a community member on 8/27/2026It is my daughter’s second year attending HELA, which is the early learning academy, and the experience has been amazing thus far. Although she’s in Pre-K I am pleased with the structure and interest that her teachers have in her learning. She’s learning more about the Bible and loves to share with
Posted by a parent on 8/27/2026My grandson was not treated fairly at this school. They lack understanding and did not keep him safe. He almost lost a finger due to an unlocked door that a teacher opened while he was standing behind the door.

I believe Heritage has its own ABS by providing families with an academic foundation, behavioral support (social-emotional learning), and scholarship opportunit

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would not reccomend this School to anyone at all Special Needs or not this School is a complete Joke. It is 100 percent NOT WORTH $20,000 A YEAR !!!They do not offer any type of therapy in that price. My Son attend for 2 years and we will not be going back. The staff is horrible even going as far as to get involved in a private cuttody case I was involved in with my Child father. If you care about your children do not send them to this school. Our experience has been horrible all around.Parent Review9mo ago - Curtis Baptist School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is one of those there are some good people and there are some bad people. A few good teachers and an okay Director. I loved the 1st grade teacher, Ms. Depner and the Pre K teacher. Hands down, they are amazing. Curtis does have a "learning place" for students that need extra assistance, but the teacher they just had in there should have not been there - she lacked empathy for my child and basically refused to help. The principal, Mrs. Roberts essentially refused to help my child when he asked for help. It infuriates me that we pay all this money and my child cant get any help. They feed them fast food for lunch and wonder why these children cant sit still - they give them junk.Parent Review3mo ago - Curtis Baptist School (Pk-12)
