Continental Colony Elementary School is not an ideal environment for teachers. The students can be disrespectful and even abusive, making it difficult for educators to do their jobs effectively. Unfortunately, the administration does not offer much support.The principal lacks compassion and does not foster a supportive atmosphere for staff or students. She seems detached from the school community, to the point where many students don’t even recognize her as the principal—they assume Mr. Gomillion is in charge instead. Favoritism is also a major issue, as certain staff members receive preferential treatment while others are left to struggle.Overall, this school needs major improvements in leadership, student behavior management, and teacher support. Until those changes are made, it’s not a great place for educators looking for a positive and professional work environment.

I am a current parent and my student is flourishing. The school has great staff and admin. Even at the front desk I know my child is safe and learning when I drop her off. The family events were well planned and her kindergarten teacher and paraprofessional were phenomenal!

My daughter is going through therapy because the headmaster did not report to us an accident that should have been reported to the police.

This facility operates more like a daycare/preschool and summer camp than a legitimate school. Families looking for a proper academic education should be aware of this before enrolling.Both our 5th and 3rd grade children, after outside academic testing, were found to be performing at approximately a 4th grade and kindergarten level across multiple subjects. This was deeply concerning and did not align with what was presented to us during enrollment.In addition, the school lacks adequately credentialed instructional staff, and discipline practices we personally observed and experienced were alarming and inappropriate for a learning environment.The administration was consistently rude and unprofessional, and honesty and transparency were not evident in our dealings with them. Overall, this facility does not provide the academic rigor, professionalism, or safe environment that families should expect. I strongly encourage parents to carefully consider the well-being and education of their children before attending or enrolling in any program, service, or event associated with this facility.
