Most teachers stay for many years which is wonderful to see consistency year after year with different children. Fun themes and activities for family involvement from Valentines Dance, Science Night, Hispanic Heritage night, Koala Krawl 5K, Field Day, etc. Great counselors and expanded "specials" beyond what other local schools offer like video broadcasting, Spanish, Art, Science, PE and Music!

I would not recommend this school to anyone. This is my daughter first year going here so i have been the most patient with this school but it has been nothing but horrible since she has been there!.. they have kids fighting on the bus, without a adult even knowing, they have so much drama at the school and unprofessional teachers its ridiculous. It's not enough eyes on these kids at all, soon as something happens the teachers say they didnt see it, and they never know whats going on. they have serious bully issues which is a huge safety problem for your children! This school has been the worst I've seen thus far. FIND YOUR KIDS A BETTER & SAFE SCHOOL PARENTS!!!

My daughter has been at oars for 4th and is now finishing up 5th. It’s been a great experience for her, she enjoys going to school and spending time with her friend group. The teachers are supportive and communicative, and truly care about the kids.

They put chrismas trees up when some kids don't celibrate .

Too much miscommunication, no one wants to talk to you about the problems occurring at the school when it comes to certain issues hindering the education of our kids. The principal is a Karen who seems she has the best interest for the kids but she promotes only what’s beneficial and will single your child out over small mistakes they made and will hinder it over your child’s head the entire time they attend school.kids should love their principal and not despise seeing them.

I attended Athens Academy for my senior year of high school, and I absolutely loved it. The environment was incredibly welcoming, and the faculty were consistently kind, supportive, and attentive to each student’s needs. I immediately felt a strong sense of community, and the students made it easy to feel included from the start. Before transferring, I spent two years at Prince Avenue Christian School, and the difference between the two experiences was honestly night and day. My time at Prince Avenue was extremely negative and lacked the level of support, organization, and overall positive environment that I later found at Athens Academy. Transferring made me realize just how much a school can impact a student’s experience. At Athens Academy, I found a place where I truly felt supported both academically and personally. If you are looking to put your child into a safe environment where they will grow in education, understanding, and confidence, I cannot recommend Athens Academy enough. It’s a place where students are encouraged to succeed, feel valued, and genuinely enjoy learning.

We have been a part of the Prince Avenue Family for 11 years. We have been very pleased with the rigor of the academics, the strong spiritual education, the class sizes and overall safety of the school. My children have never wavered in their desire to continue to attend this school. They feel equipped to continue their education at the college level through completing both AP and Dual Enrollment classes. Our family has been active in the Fine Arts Programs and we have enjoyed watching them grow in confidence as well as skills. We would recommend this school to all.
