Posted by a parent on 7/25/2023I’ve have excellent experiences at this schools. The kids are typically very good kids and the majority of the staff are excellent teachers who work extremely hard for their students.
Posted by a teacher on 6/18/2019This is the first year at this school. My child is in 5th grade. I was initially concerned when moving here last summer reading these reviews. We came from an A school and fear of her falling behind concerned me. I gave this school a 4star b/c YES, they do not have full control of the students. My child and her friend say constantly how curse words and racial slangs are being thrown around. This could be no one tells the staff and lets it slide? who knows. I know the school she came from would have these children in detention. You couldn't even say shut up at the old school and these children say very bad profanity words. I blame this more on their own parents in the way they raise them than the school. As far as academics, this is THEE best year EVER for her. She is on A/B honor roll. She understands math and happy to go to school. If there is no control in your school, don't rate the school poorly...rate the parents. They raised the children. All the staff have been pleasant and very polite. Not at all the school being portrayed by the reviews.
Posted by a parent on 4/7/2015I am discusted with this school. The bullying is unreal, but whats worst is the kids being bullied can't defend themselves. The new principal is no good. They push the kids way to far. I have a second an third grader. An they have so much homework they have no free time at home after spending all day at school. I think its time for a new principal. Also if you enjoy your child being screamed at an mentally abused . Im telling you this school is a bad choice. Stay far away from this school.
Posted by a parent on 9/12/2013This school is terrible. That new principal has no idea what she's doing and she's extremely condescending to everyone she comes in contact with. The test scores in recent years have been abysmal at best. The staff there is a revolving door and it's all due to that principal. The students have no respect for anyone and are constantly talking back and being rude to the staff. Academics are terrible because the school is basically a zoo. If you're looking for a place with good discipline and good academics run far, far away.

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf I could give 0 star, I would. Teachers are very irresponsible and careless. My child was bullied, threaten to bring money or they would hit her, and though she tried many times to speak to her teacher, she was told to “sit down”. The problem was escalated to the principal and we were promised nothing bad would happen, she was hit by the same bully kid the next day. Yet they have not done a single thing to either discipline the bully, nor the teacher that neglected my child when she asked for help. I will report this matter to the school district. This is unacceptable!Parent Review6mo ago - Beymer United Methodist Preschool & Kindergarten

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReviewI hope this review finds some a bit of deferment and I hope it shakes others up. Grace has always had a “high” standard in our community. So many people praise it yet when I sent my child it was nothing but devastation. The days became long and impossible to get through. The teachers had little to no empathy or care for their students. I made my child’s teacher aware of an illness and if it was to occur to call me immediately, my request was ignored and my child suffered. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only time my child suffered at the exspense of Grace. Not only did they ignore my requests when it came to their health but they also refused to listen when my child cried for help. The bullying became so severe and after speaking with not only the teacher but the principle as well nothing was done. I was told my child was the problem. It becomes a problem when a child looses their voice and can no longer speak up for themselves because they know that they will have no support and no one who will stand up for them. If your child is bullied at Grace it will not stop and they will victim blame. They have a lack of discipline and understanding of discipline, they show favoritism and make it very clear when a child is not liked to not only the child themself but also to the parents.Grace lacks accommodations and compassion. Each child has specific needs but they do not care. They will not accommodate your child whether they have a diagnosis or just need a little extra help. Grace will ignore your request as a parent and they will make your child suffer. Emotionally, academically, anyway imaginable. If your child does not fit their mold then your child will be belittled and ridiculed. I have nothing good to say about this school!!!! If you have an exceptional child, one who you want to be molded into their own person, one you want to be kind and that you want to be treated with the respect that they deserve….DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to Grace!Parent Review2y ago - Grace Lutheran School
