Posted by a parent on 8/25/2017I will give this school a 10 plus! I will advice any parent to put their child on the waiting list!!!!
Posted by a parent on 8/15/2017While a majority of the teaching staff is amazing...the leadership is sub-par at best. The principal is not seen on campus, little involvement with the students, does not return emails in a timely manner (if at all), etc....and....unfortunately....I have watched teacher morale deteriorate at a fast pace at this school over the last 4 years. Luckily this is not really affecting what is going on in the classrooms, but I imagine it will at some point.
Posted by a parent on 6/18/2014Overall it is a good school. Some of the teachers are really a blessing and you could tell they care about your child's education. My only real concern is the new music teacher. I have noticed on several occasions she likes to belittle the children by speaking to them in an unrespectful manner. Constantly rolling her eyes at them, seeming very irritated or bothered should they dare ask her any questions.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJSA has great teachers. That's where the good stuff ends. The administration of this school is terrible. I just got back from the second event I've attended where my son was crying when I finally got to him because he thought I didn't show up; when in fact, I had been at the school more than 45 minutes early, waiting in a HUGE check-in line that stretched out of the school and down the sidewalk. This was NOT an isolated incident. Every single event hosted by this school is VERY disorganized and overcrowded. There seems to be zero planning for the number of people who show up. If it wasn't for the wonderful teachers he's had, my son would no longer be enrolled at this horribly managed school. Shame on the administration for doing nothing to improve things. How about having a pre-registration for parents to report their plans to attend prior to the event? Or allowing parents to pay for a background check and obtain a permanent visitor badge? There are so many things they could do but they do nothing, and the result is chaos. Additionally, the principal does not answer parent emails most of the time. I have learned this from experience. On paper, this school seems great. In practice, it's awful. Truly hoping my son gets a private school voucher next year so I can get him out of this mess.Parent Review5mo ago - Beymer United Methodist Preschool & Kindergarten

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageReviewI hope this review finds some a bit of deferment and I hope it shakes others up. Grace has always had a “high” standard in our community. So many people praise it yet when I sent my child it was nothing but devastation. The days became long and impossible to get through. The teachers had little to no empathy or care for their students. I made my child’s teacher aware of an illness and if it was to occur to call me immediately, my request was ignored and my child suffered. Unfortunately, this wasn’t the only time my child suffered at the exspense of Grace. Not only did they ignore my requests when it came to their health but they also refused to listen when my child cried for help. The bullying became so severe and after speaking with not only the teacher but the principle as well nothing was done. I was told my child was the problem. It becomes a problem when a child looses their voice and can no longer speak up for themselves because they know that they will have no support and no one who will stand up for them. If your child is bullied at Grace it will not stop and they will victim blame. They have a lack of discipline and understanding of discipline, they show favoritism and make it very clear when a child is not liked to not only the child themself but also to the parents.Grace lacks accommodations and compassion. Each child has specific needs but they do not care. They will not accommodate your child whether they have a diagnosis or just need a little extra help. Grace will ignore your request as a parent and they will make your child suffer. Emotionally, academically, anyway imaginable. If your child does not fit their mold then your child will be belittled and ridiculed. I have nothing good to say about this school!!!! If you have an exceptional child, one who you want to be molded into their own person, one you want to be kind and that you want to be treated with the respect that they deserve….DO NOT I repeat DO NOT go to Grace!Parent Review2y ago - Grace Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are so thankful for having a school that we feel safe to send our children. The officers are very friendly and are always watching diligently. We know that our children are getting a wonderful education, learning social skills, learning how to love God, and enjoying their time. The elementary teachers and staff are loving and caring to the needs of our children. We could not be more thankful for all of them!Parent Review1mo ago - Bethel Christian Academy
