I had a torn ligament in my left ankle and was put on a scooter, I got to leave class early and ride the elevator. But my doctor had to send 3-5 Doctors notes in because she thought Dean Sanders was NOT taking my injury seriously. Like during lunch I was told I’d be accommodated and helped getting lunch, I got no help, I had to ask friends around to help me get lunch, and once I started getting it on my own and carrying it to a table in a small box or baggie he’d walk over and ask me how i’d get it, saying did you make sure you dont walk on it ect. Absolutely not on my rear about it. My doctors note STRICTLY would state “ NO PRESSURE ON FOOT/ANKLE “ and yet he’d tell me I’d have to walk through the metal detectors just to get through and so then somebody had to help me hop through the detector's. When I went to ask for a stay away contract on this girl who spread rumors about me being falsely raped by some one they said to just shake hands on it and let it go, I had to talk about what she did to a teacher just so her teacher could talk to her, then talk to the dean and then she got a contract on me. I signed it right away without hesitation. I had to do all of that just to feel safe in there. the only redeeming quality it has is some of the food and some teachers.Student Review9mo ago13 Reviews - Apollo Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLack of communication with teachers. Some teachers very unprofessional. Teacher announcing in front of class who has to go to summer school or get held back. Constant bullying on buses. The principal is great and she’s trying her best but there is just so many kids and so many issues it’s hard to make changes in a short time. Hopefully it gets better. Office staff is also great and very friendly and tries to help you.Parent Review2y ago18 Reviews - Coquina Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has consistently failed to do anything about the violence against my son. My son has had chairs thrown at him, punched and kicked in the privates, been full on bitten with broken skin, and punched in the face. Since the administration refuses to do anything other than to move the seats of the offending kids away from my son I figured I might as well start posting what is actually going on at this obviously uncaring establishment. If you have kids being violent to other kids, they need removed after the first incident. I don't care what their economic/social status is. This establishment is just fine sweeping violence between children under the rug and "investigate themselves" to see if there is systemic bullying and magically find no evidence of it. Two years in a row it has been happening, that sounds pretty systemic to me. When the incidents happen, we aren't even notified until AFTER school hours.Parent Review9mo ago4 Reviews - Imperial Estates Elementary School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWow! My daughter loves her new school! Her teacher is so interactive and alive and truly loves to teach. You can see it in her eyes. She tells me new stories everyday about what her teacher said or showed them that day! This is what ALL teachers should be doing!! Way to go Imperial! Awesome school! Most are very courteous and wonderful, staff and teachers. Front office is always nice to you and helpful!Parent Review12y ago11 Reviews - Park Avenue Christian Academy
