As a student this school isn't as it seems. The teachers, The staff, everything (not the lunch lady's) are terrible. The some of teachers are fake, they have favorites. Posted by a community member on 6/8/2026This school is not it I regret putting my son in this school they grades are based of testing only don't matter if you're doing classwork or homework etc that doesn't matter only testing so if your child is not a good test taker I wouldn't recommend this school at all the math teacher he has now isn

Yes- there are conflicts that appear now and then, but at the end, a reasonable action is taken by the principal or any respective adults. We wanted a more racially and economically diverse school for our child than our neighborhood could provide so we opted for Lomax. We’re so glad we did! He flourished there. My favorite thing about Lomax is how much the faculty and staff encouraged our son to be his wonderfully eccentric self.
