Broward Elementary School

First day here dropping off my toddlers, as a mother ofcourse sobbing in the car line and as I drove past certain teachers I began to apologize for moving so slow and out of no where I hear a shout angrily tone scream back from a teacher (well sorry ain’t gonna cut it). What was a good moment went to the ruts.Another time we had a traumatic incident happen in the school with my nonverbal 3yr old. Took 3wks to get a meeting with principal. Had to deal with staff dismissing important details about situation and staff lying about certain behavior and knowing school policy. Terrible communication and zero care for a child with special needs. Had to move schools to get a better outcome. I would NOT recommend this school.

April 9, 2026, 1003am my wife and I get a message, call and email stating my daughter was absent today after, I the father left her at school, then seen her at about 830 am at her awards ceremony, when I call to see why they marked her absent, the pretty much laugh, that normal jajaja, I asked for principal, Ms. Edward’s wouldn’t let me speak at first just giving me an excuse that it’s normal but that she personally seen me at the ceremony and that the substitute at 930am placed her absent but that my daughter was in school jajajaja, not first time this happens after being accused that my daughter has been absent 21 days, mmmm wondering why now mmmmmm….

Honestly, this is probably one of the worst schools. I knew a girl that got chased by a group of boys and were taking pictures of her, basically harassing her even as she told them multiple times VERY NICELY that she was already dating someone and rejected the boys on four seperate days. The boys also contacted one of her friends and started spamming her with calls and texts talking about how they "loved and hated" the other girl. She later took it to the principal and instead of doing anything they changed the subject to her outfit and how she was dressed inappropriately (it was school dress code, she had a jacket on that was not fitting, shorts, with legging underneath the shorts.) There has been no action taken or even any conformation they would do something about it. They preach "if you see something say something, but do nothing to protect their students.

Our experience at this school had been beyond negative starting from the teachers to the front office The administration here is completely incompetent and they do not treat parents with respect nor they try to help parents when they need information. The coach the music teacher the Spanish ladies that work in the office and the principal are all rude and disrespectful I am not sure how they ended up as an A school . They do not care if the students are failing they pass them and they help them pass

My child did not know english and Seminole Height ES was her first school in US. Principle and teachers did so great, so she was amazing last 2 years.Every morning she gets warm and excited welcome by Principle and teacher from gate.I am very grateful to school and best wish for them to level up soon.
