Oak Ridge Elementary School

This is our first year being at Pineview and I love it. I love how the teachers love my kids. Mrs Connor is the best, I love how she goes the extra mile. She walks the students down the road to their neighborhood to ensure safety.

Poor communication, staff and administrators are very uneducated about education and how to differentiate instruction to assist all students reach their potential. They are very retaliatory and are negligent when dealing with children. Between the profanity the teachers use and the behavior they lead with, I would keep my child away from this school but unfortunately majority of the children on s.s are doomed to attend due to zoning restrictions. If education tort and negligence was a name for a school, it would be Bond. Hopefully they can get the A they’ve been repeatedly attempting to obtain for years and have yet to achieve. A change in leadership is required for the school to grow further.

How does a child come from this environment, as a third grader, with NO reading skills? This child needs extensive remediation, which requires so much paperwork, it detracts from the time we have to fix his problems. What guidelines govern this school? I'm an NBCT and the two siblings need intensive intervention to get them to grade level, What data and interventions are they required to provide to the parents, in this situation? Do they get a refund for leaving these children so deficit in their skills?????

TCS has been a fantastic community for my two sons. They have learned to think deeply and have developed a love for learning. The teachers and staff care about my kids so much! I am so thankful for this school and what they have done for my family.
