Kate Sullivan Elementary School

This school is a great school. My son loves to go in this school because everyone is friendly and teachers are amazing as they are really supportive and hands on to their students. This school encourage the families to be involved in school activities and be inform on what’s going on to their school and programs. It also offers IB program and it is a magnet school which is great, their teachings are way more better than other public school here. I highly recommend this school. I think this site needs to have more updated ratings and school evaluation.

My daughter attended summer VPK at Betton Hills in 2012, and we had a wonderful experience. The teachers and administration were excellent!

I don’t even know where to start. I was praying this year would start off strong. Please don’t come here. The head of school, Justin just reeks of pompousness. What is the school board trying to create!? Little Justin’s!? Pick another private school.

Great intentions, poor execution. Parents look to this school when their child has additional needs. Staff is overwhelmed and the school is poorly funded. Teachers are allowed to refused to meet with parents. The structure is lacks and there is not a set curriculum. Technology is severely limited. There is only one modality of learning presented that is the least likely to be successful. Materials are cobbled together and worksheets are found are free websites. Most of the work presented during the day appears to be busy work. Reading and reading comprehension are not a priority.

We currently have our 9 month old enrolled at Ivy Hill Academy and can't say enough good things! The small classrooms are great, his is a 5-2 ratio right now, which is unheard of (most have over 14 babies per room!). The staff is super sweet and very attentive.
