The school is pretty good but there isn’t assistance when you need you need help to resolve any situation between teacher/parent. The person who is in charge of before/after care services don’t help to resolve any situation that they did imprudently.

I wanted to express my sincere gratitude for the wonderful experience my daughter had under the care of Mrs. Deluca and Mrs. Spence. Their dedication, kindness, and the knowledge they shared have truly made a positive impact on her development. Unfortunately, due to our relocation to another city, she will not be attending this year. I can honestly say that it’s difficult to find a school as exceptional as Challenger. I wish we could bring the school with us to our new location. Thank you again for providing a safe, nurturing environment and for all the support you have given my daughter. Challenger will be truly missed, and I deeply appreciate everything you have done.

The front office staff is kind and courteous. They try to address all concerns or get you to the proper person. Admin will always call you at least once, when they investigate a problem, to let you know the outcome. My grandson had a problem on the bus, I was told the issue fell under transportation, so I had to take him off the bus. I had no other issues. The bus drivers need others on the bus to help. The teachers get helpers (teacher aids, paras, volunteers, etc.), the bus drivers should have help too. I am told they will have a cluster class starting this year, so I may be able to get my other grandchild to attend. I had to learn that off the school property Transportation and/or The City of Sunrise Police Department have to help/get invlolved.

Salah Tawfik Elementary and Middle School is overall a great school when looking for a school that will effectively teach your child Islamic principles and practices from a young age, allowing kids a safe Islamic community they can go back to even after they leave the school-In terms of teachers the quality is very mixed which I feel one can expect at most schools, what's great about Salah Tawfik is that its smaller size allows teachers to proper teach each student even on an individual basis allowing for greater success. However the school seems to be understaffed with it seeming like teachers are chosen without necessarily caring for actual qualifications but rather to fill in missing positions, this is seen with some teachers teaching multiple subjects and classes without it seeming like they were specifically qualified for that.-As for clubs the school seems to be increasing the clubs they offer and does a good job at promoting the existing clubs they offer such as yearbook, National Junior Honor Society, and Student Council. Where the school could improve on is athletics as they don't offer many (only soccer), in my opinion this is a huge oversight as forming a league of Islamic schools could be excellent for the youth to provide them a safe Islamic environment where they can play against other Islamic schools and make connections with fellow Muslims, rather than having to play for a team outside of school that may not promote Islamic ideals.-Education is overall good as it offers the basic needed classes as well as extras like Islamic Studies and Quran, however where the school lacks most is in the middle school area by not allowing more advanced classes they hold back students for when they get into high school. For example most regular schools are able to provide Algebra 1 to students when they are in middle school so that they then take courses like Geometry when they start high school, however Salah Tawfik does not provide this as an option whatsover which can hold back the student once they reach high school.

Estoy realmente feliz y agradecida por haber encontrado esta maravillosa escuela. En esta escuela realmente se preocupan porque los alumnos y los padres nos sintamos cómodos y felices. Son muy comprensivos con las necesidades de cada uno de los niños. La recomiendo 100%.I am really happy and grateful to have found this wonderful school. This school really cares about making sure that students and parents feel comfortable and happy. They are very understanding of the needs of each child. I recommend it 100%.
