Read what parents are saying about Creekside High SchoolHonestly it’s just a school. If your can adhere to the rules and put effort into your classes you’ll do well here. it’s actually really easy to make friends, as in every classroom there is a diverse population of people (personality and race wise). and as for learning, i mean it’s school, we learn boring stuff all the time and we just gotta suck it up. the teachers will often give the class options on how to learn a required standard, which is nice. i haven’t met any teachers with an outdated way of teaching yet either. the AP and dual programs are amazing. Cafeteria food isn’t bad either (it’s not good but…it’s school so). they have good extracurricular programs(meaning they all have equal funding and there’s options to choose from too). NOW for mental health…if your child goes to the counselor and opens up about their bad mental health or personal struggles, don’t be shocked if cops pull up at your front door and backer act your kid (your kid will get sent to the psych ward by the cops, and you have to pay for it btw). and for IEP’s or 504 all teachers i’ve had so far have adhered by them pretty willingly, and i haven’t heard any bad stories regarding them either. but i guess we will see cause im going back in august with a service dog:////.
Posted by a student on 6/29/2023I wish I had a good school to the start as Bartram Trail High School. Creekside is just awful. Don't get help wen yo ask for it, horrible teachers, staff, and not to mention the students.
Posted by a parent on 9/7/2019I loved Creekside and would recommend it to anyone moving in and looking for a school.
Posted by a student on 8/2/2017I am very surprised by the reviews here, as I have two teenagers currently in attendance at Creekside and am EXTREMELY pleased with the school. As at any school (or workplace) you're going to have whiny people who complain about everything because they want preferential treatment for their children. I don't. I want them to act properly, pay attention and do their personal best-- I don't need them to be coddled. If you have a child who can follow rules, they will THRIVE at this school. Most all teachers my children have had are fabulous! Rest assured, that if you are a nice family with kids who know how to act properly this school is far superior to Bartram High School (which is near by). If you are or children don't know how to follow rules, or are all around difficult people, then move on instead of whining about this school. Seriously. You can now apply to move out of your zoned school. My husband and I really like this school and have grown sick and tired of those who seem to criticize it at each and every turn. At school, and in life--you get as much out of it as you put into it. Our family has spent three years there and haven't had a single issue. So, to those of you considering this school, take the criticism with a grain of salt. Good kids = Good Experience and bad kids will likely have a horrible experience. That to me, points to the fact that rule followers get along just fine there. In fact, they'll thrive!!
Posted by a parent on 6/16/2016I spoke with administration about concerns I had with my child's teacher. They were dismissive about my concerns and when I took further action, they retaliated against my child. During the IEP meeting I pointed out how they were violating my child's rights by citing the procedural safeguards; it didn't matter to them.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don’t think you could ask for a better environment for your elementary student. This school has high achieving students, because of its amazing teaching staff. The administration is second to none, and the support staff is wonderful. We have thought about moving to a different part of the county a few times over the last few years, but can’t bring ourselves to leave DCE until all of our children have had their chance to get through their fifth grade year.Parent Review1mo ago - Timberlin Creek Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has been absolutely amazing for my 3 kids and I’m grateful we chose this district. We moved here 3 years ago from one of the top districts in the country and I was so nervous… especially since 2 of my kids have an IEP. But every teacher we’ve had so far has exceeded my expectations. Our experience here could not have gone better and I’m thankful every day we chose Timberline Creek.Parent Review1y ago - Liberty Pines Academy

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school from 6th grade to 8th grade, after quarantine. They made me feel welcome and at home. The academics are great and the teachers were amazing. I think I’ve only had one bad teacher and her teaching style just wasn’t for me. But everything else was absolutely wonderful! The councilors, activities, ect!Student Review1y ago - Patriot Oaks Academy

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has no handle on bullying issues and they actually contribute to it with their favoring of students/kids of PTO parents, etc. The school doesn't value academic excellence, nor do they award it. They don't care about the culture or environment they are creating- the school has a horrible "it's all about who you know" type situation and political atmosphere which heavily influences the student's experience. My children HATE this school- each day we drive by it and no exaggeration, they talk about how horrible it is and the horrific environment of the behavior and lack of discipline. This is coming from a couple kids who loved school and loved their teachers, and had excellent prior experiences.Parent Review2y ago - FREEDOM CROSSING ACADEMY
