This school is horrendous and needs to be closed. The staff will tell you that they care about the students but it is just a glorified day care for special needs students. It's a wonder advocacy groups aren't clamoring for the place to be closed.
Posted by a community member on 2/2/2017The school is a pit! Most of the teachers have been there forever and were probably put there because they don't know how to teach. The aides are horrible and are just there to cash a paycheck. Kids just sit in wheelchairs and watch videos all day.

The teachers and staff are a family, one that cares for another and their students. The staff works to overcome adversity-whether it be a loss of student, a loss of a staff's loved one

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYour child is not safe at this school. The staff puts their hands on children. They allow bullying. They allow bullying after being informed. Physical bullying. Teacher student favoritism. Teacher will kick your child to the back of the room to avoid working with them. If your child needs glasses, breaks them in the back of the class, teacher refuses to put your child in the front where the can see even with a doctor's note. You must have the doctor write it on a prescription or they will ignore your every attempt to help your child. Must have a prescription to sit where you can see the board. I can go on.
