Wilson Elementary School

We moved from private school and we have been pleasantly surprised with the level of education! I have 2 kids in different grades and I noticed that they cover the topics at the same time, just at a different grade level. The teachers have been very detailed with feedback and communication and this school seems very cohesive and a vibrant community.

Excelente escuela. De verdad no tengo nada malo que decir. Tengo a mis dos hijos en ella. Mucha comunicación, limpieza; los maestros que les han tocado con muy cariñosos y atentos con los niños. Mucha dedicación y profesionalismo. La encargada del restaurante es una persona adorable. Maestras de Esol y terapistas son personas muy profesionales y adorables. A mis dos hijos le encanta! Recomiendo siempre esta escuela. A+++

This school has the most unprofessional front office receptionist and administrators Ive ever experienced. They are extremely rude and unkind when it comes to family engagement. Being that this is the first impression of the school outside of appearance, you would think they would get their act together. Would not recommend. And they also try to make it hard for minorities to enter here as well all while having minorities working for them. Its ridiculous. 0/10

I recently had the displeasure in the application process at LMP. They asked my child to come in for a shadow day. They evaluated him as someone who is not interested in learning. Is this possible from a shadow day???? Perhaps the teacher was not that interesting to listen to, or engaging? I tried to contact the school to discuss this further, still waiting for response. LMP was not a first choice school for our family. There are better choices in the Orlando area.

I would not recommend this school for high school. There is a noticeable lack of strong teachers in both science and mathematics. Communication is inconsistent—some teachers respond to messages while others do not. Additionally, certain teachers become upset when parents email with questions or concerns, and at times they address these issues in front of the entire class. This can be especially difficult and embarrassing for teenagers to deal with.
