Symmes Elementary School

My son started there in 3 rd grade. Honestly I wasn’t impressed in the beginning. But I had to change my mind really quickly. His 3 rd grade teacher team have been absolutely incredible. . We decide to keep him at Kingswood and that was the best decision we made. If you are a parent who likes to be part of your child’s school go to Kingswood. There was always communication between the teacher and us as parents. . There so many wonderful teachers there. Kingswood was a blessing for my child’s education. One of the best elementary school experiences we ever had.

I am was a student at this school through pre k to 5th and I loved coming to school almost every day and the teachers were always there for me and everyone. And I never seen or heard of any fights. If you’re in the area you should go to this school. At the time I am righting this I’m in 8th grade in Don Giunta middle school.

I went to this school in 2007 overall it sucked. The students were terrible, and the teachers were no better. One of them had finally had enough and walked out (Temporary) and a student stared a fight with me over a lanyard

When I went to this school, I experienced bullying and it was severely not dealt with. The teachers play favorites, especially to children who attend the church. I was often humiliated in front of the class for multiple years because I had undiagnosed ADHD with depression. The Christian values they say to uphold are egocentric. Their mindset is very old school, as are their outdated textbooks. They once hired a teacher who had no credentials and touched himself in front of students very casually while teaching. This was not dealt with because the principal did not want to hear about such unclean things. Many students I know lived or went onto live double lives, particularly the men…

Since joining Immanuel Lutheran Church and School in June 2024, I have been continually impressed by the warm, welcoming community and the dedication to both spiritual and academic excellence. As a middle school teacher and communicant member, I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact this institution has on its students and congregation.The faculty and staff are incredibly supportive, fostering an environment where students are encouraged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. The curriculum is well-rounded, integrating faith-based learning with a strong emphasis on academic achievement. The school's commitment to nurturing each student's unique talents and abilities is truly commendable.The church community is equally remarkable, offering a variety of programs and services that cater to all age groups. The worship services are uplifting and inspiring, providing a sense of belonging and spiritual growth.
