Read what parents are saying about Savanna Ridge Elementary SchoolImpatient 2nd grade teacher. Administration treated my child very unfairly and BHT twisted my son's arm.
Posted by a parent on 3/29/2023The administration at this school needs to go. The students don't even know who she is and the parents and teachers are treated like garbage.
Posted by a parent on 1/25/2015We just moved in Septemeber from PBC, I was worried because my son has Autism and the school he went to loved him and he loved them too. Well Savanna Ridge welcomed my son and helped out so much with the change of new city and new school. The principal and assistant principal and the ESE are awesome. My son is so happy and I'm relieved. I don't know why people have negative remarks about the school but for the first 2 weeks I walked my son in the school. The staff is warm and welcoming, the principal interacts with the kids and you can see she cares and the kids at the school are happy. I'm glad my son is happy and that makes me happy.
Posted by a parent on 10/28/2014The principle of Savannah Ridge Elementary is a joke who changes the dress code 19 days before school starts for the 2014-2015 school year.
Posted by a parent on 8/2/2014I feel my child doesn't get half the education she deserves, not to mention any extra activities or music art sports programs, they don't even supply pencils! Not very impressed!!

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible! It is by far the worst school I have ever encountered. The office staff is very rude and disrespectful and the principal upholds their behavior. I don't recommend this school to anyone, I actually regret it. Absolutely the most disgraceful school in the county. Do not enroll your child here.Parent Review5y ago - Northport K-8 School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFor the most part, I have enjoyed my experience, especially with the bright and fun principal that lights up the rooms he goes in. However, as stated before, flawed behavior has been found and I need to say my words to get this message through. Out roar has been released in the students already, but the school hasn’t done anything. Do something.Student Review4y ago - Rivers Edge Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the best elementary school in the entire district. We’re so happy to that our grandson was given this school assignment. Excellent principal, vice principal, teachers. Most engaged educators I have met in all the St Lucie county schools.Parent Review3mo ago - Weatherbee Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am extremely unsatisfied with this school. They are very disorganized to say the least. My son was hit by another student in the chest and then was co-erced into saying it happened at home. DCF was called instead of talking with us first. We have a THREE year relationship with staff there and this claim was ridiculous and unfounded. We are taking him out of weatherbee asap.Parent Review9y ago - St. James Kids Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageContinue.... and by the was Saint James Christian Academy is the same and is ran by the same administrators. The school is now joined together as Saint James Christian Academy and Saint James Kids Academy has closed. If you krep your head down and never disagree with the administration team your child will do great with there education. After reading a review I am going to find out if Saint James Christian Academy is accredited! My children will no longer be attending this school...Parent Review8y ago - Sun Grove Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe became very disillusioned with this school after having high hopes initially but it became a very toxic environment which has been corroborated by many other parents and former staff. We only stayed as long as we did because we were waiting for construction of Primrose in Tradition to finish and for it to finally open. Sun Grove is painfully lacking in communication skills with parents and very defensive when dealing with a parent who has a concern or a grievance. A few of the upper staff are highly defensive, abrasive and disrespectful towards parents. The parents of Sun Grove deserve better. Mandatory (they call it volunteer) labor hours for parents and if these hours are not met, they charge money for every hour not completed. We pay over $800 a month tuition. Where is our money going? Why can't they hire professionals to fix things around the school? Extreme food restrictions for lunches/snacks. Parent/student-shaming if an unapproved food is sent. If you're going to only require fruits and vegetables for snacks, they need to be kept cold in order for them to stay viable all day! A small cold pack is not going to stay cold long enough to do that and the school does not offer refrigeration. When we try to send a non-perishable item that our 4yo will actually eat, it is taken away and sent home with a no-no note. Campus floods badly frequently causing parents to have to pick their children up mid-day and often have to leave work to do so. No programs like music, language, etc. No covered playground in the hot Florida sun. Fire ant issues. Our daughter received many fire ant bites. Tons of bugs and mosquitos. Located in a very run-down area of Fort Pierce Fl. Parents are pulling their kids from this school left and right and for good reason. They also currently have no head of school as she was fired after the end of the last school year. Never thought I’d have to say this but steer clear!Parent Review2y ago - Woodlands Montessori School North

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am surprised by the negative reviews on here. Woodlands Montessori is by far the most magnificent school I’ve been to. The director and her daughter are very professional and welcoming. I’ve had such a great experience here. Unfortunately I think it’s hard for some parents to understand that sometimes their child isn’t able to interact in this kind of environment, so instead of reflecting on themselves as the parent and what they can do to better prepare their child for preschool they want to take it out on the teachers. Everything starts at home!Parent Review4y ago
