Read what parents are saying about Dayspring AcademyMy daughter loves that its like a family while at school, and if you want a very good education for your child(ren) this is the school you want them in. There is a lot of work involved, sometimes I feel like I have homework as the parent because the amount per week. Its like we finish the weeks lessons and than Friday the nest weeks hw is up. I sometimes feel bad because it is a lot for a child but who doesn't want the best education for their child. To succeed in life its not easy and this will definitely prepare them for life.
Posted by a parent on 4/7/2021I have had three children in Dayspring. No school is perfect, but this school is about close to perfect as you can get. My family give is a AAA+
Posted by a parent on 2/17/2020Dayspring exceeds every other school in the county (yes, county) in many ways. They’re always rated within the top ten for the entire state, not just our own area. When a child attends this school, they succeed and excel far beyond basic criteria not just academically, but exceptionally with their character development as well. Dayspring is an amazing school where it’s staff are fully invested in your children... I feel incredibly lucky to have mine here. It’s been worth it every step of the way.
Posted by a parent on 5/17/2019Good experience but I think the workload is excessive and the kids are really pushed. If you have a very motivated student, it will work --not a place however for average or struggling students. Quality education and staff. Definitely not a basic run of the mill school. If you want a free, high quality program, this may be the place for you.
Posted by a parent on 5/6/2019Dayspring Academy has made my dreams a reality. I am very thankful for the strong relationships that teacher have with the children. They never fail to help there students achieve beyond the stars. My children were accepted into this school a few years ago and it has been the best experience yet. My children are receiving the best grades i have ever seen. While there is a lot of homework, I believe that it really helps. My experience with this school has always been amazing. So thankful!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school does not take bullying seriously. They favor the kids that bully. Also the teachers are very unprofessional and not caring when it comes to their students education! My daughter’s grades has dropped dramatically since attending this school. Instead of being with her class when it comes to academics she has dropped below average and gets bullied about her learning disability while the teachers stand around to let this take place. The principal will support her staff, leaving your child to feel afraid and alone.Parent Review11mo ago - Fox Hollow Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAwful school. Last year, my daughters teacher disappeared during holiday break and never returned. This year, I have gotten probably 3 calls a week to complain about my child, examples being "shes talking during gym class." The teachers do not have any knowledge of how to handle their own classroom, and will call you to "tattle" on your child for ridiculous things that come with a child being 8. The school has a problem with ELEMENTARY aged children fist fighting, but chooses to treat students bringing toys to school with the same severity as a student harming another student. Get some priorities Fox Hollow, and maybe work on your 1/10 rating, because honestly it feels like you have to TRY to be this bad.Parent Review6mo ago - Chasco Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has been bullied relentlessly at this school, she has come home with a concussion, with multiple black eyes and when it has been brought to administration i have been told "boys will be boys, maybe they like her" this is so unacceptable and i will be raising issues with this matter as high up as needed until something is done. My niece has been bullied relentlessly and her mother has been told "they have bigger fires to put out" rather than dealing with 3-4 kids jumping my niece. I will not stop until something is done!Parent Review11mo ago - Gulf Highlands Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI wish I had a list of nice things to say, but I do not ... I will say we are lucky with the science and math teacher my son has, but his language and social studies teacher is a different story. I don't blame her entirely either, There is just a failure in the whole communication system at this school. Parents and teachers and administration do not talk or communicate like they should. I think some of the teachers, don't feel supported by parents or staff, have trouble with students not listening or being respectful, parents blaming the teachers for the class room problems, administration not handling the behavioral issues or bullying problems... not enough support for the students with special needs and accommodations and are integrated into main stream classes without proper support (for the child or the staff). Unfortunately a lot of these problems are wide spread throughout the county and not just the one school. It just sucks because for every good thing that can be said about some of the staff , there are more not so good things to say about others. But the biggest issue is with the lack of talking and listening .... I have said on multiple occasions there is a huge difference between listening and hearing.... just cause some one heard you doesn't mean they listened to your words.... This school could be an amazing school if everyone tried to work together instead of just dealing with each other...Parent Review3mo ago - Bishop Larkin Catholic School
