While the school offers a special needs program, my experience as a volunteer raised serious concerns about how students with autism are treated. On multiple occasions, I observed a lack of patience and compassion from both paraprofessionals and, at times, teachers. It was particularly troubling to see one of these educators receive such high recognition "Teacher of the year" within the school. Additionally, the principal and assistant principal come across as very intimidating and often brush off concerns rather than addressing them adequately. The overall environment can feel unwelcoming, and issues do not appear to be handled with the level of care and attention they deserve.Based on these experiences, I strongly encourage parents of children with autism to carefully consider other options, including schools specifically equipped to support their needs, in order to avoid unnecessary stress and negative experiences.Parent Review1mo ago16 Reviews - Flamingo Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have a child w/ ASD/ADHD who has had so much challenges in the primary years of Elementary school. We even tried private schools and that was a bust. NOB HILL HAS BEEN AMAZING! He has acclimated to the environment. They're super supportive. His teachers are kind. The school is understanding and treats him well. We are beyond happy with being here and my son is thriving academically. He scored a 5 on his reading and a 3 on his math last year and now we're in 5th grade and so sad that he has to leave a school that he has finally been accepted and comfortable in. If you're thinking about Nob Hill, say yes!Parent Review7mo ago12 Reviews - Central Park Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe first year my child attended to school. There were no teachers for kindergarten um. For the first to semesters, which really affected her learning in first grade, they basically had a teacher who was very advanced and pushing the client, the students really hard. And they were not prepared for her teaching style. So she had a really rough first grade. And now, second grade, like she's being held back. I don't understand why she suffered so much this year. Because honestly, which you should have excelled. However, the teacher's mother passed away and apparently and this really hindered the education of that class. So several kids were held back as well.Parent Review11mo ago25 Reviews - St Bonaventure Catholic School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood church. The school leaves a lot to be desired. If you’re looking for your child to get a solid education and have well-organized extracurricular activities, take your money elsewhere. This is not it.We are now in our second year at St. Bonaventure, and despite our daughter being one of the top students in her class, we have decided to pull her out and enroll her in a better school. The academic rigor is inconsistent, communication is lacking, and extracurricular programs feel poorly planned and under-supported. Knowing what we know now, it makes sense why there are such few high achieving students in each class. For the cost and expectations associated with this school, the overall experience has been disappointing. We had hoped for stronger academics, better organization, and a more enriching environment. Unfortunately, St. Bonaventure did not meet those expectationsParent Review2mo ago21 Reviews - Developmental Preschool Kindergarten

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe fell in love with Parkway Christian School when our oldest started in preschool. The teachers were so sweet, welcoming, and made school feel like home. Now, with two children in upper and lower elementary, it’s such a joy to see how happy they are to come to school each day. They truly love being here and even dislike missing a single day. We’ve watched them grow in confidence and learn so many new skills, and we’re so grateful for the caring environment and strong foundation Parkway provides.Parent Review8mo ago48 Reviews
