Tomlin Middle School

This school seriously lacks communication and operates in a way that feels both unprofessional and unethical. I would not recommend it to other parents.There have been multiple occasions where I was not informed about important situations involving my children, including classroom issues and attendance. As a parent, I should be part of those conversations, yet decisions were made without notifying me.Instead, the school chose to address matters directly with my child and remove activities and privileges without proper notice or discussion with me. That is not how a school should handle student concerns.What makes this even more frustrating is that this is my daughter’s final year, and many of her privileges were taken away due to attendance issues that could have been avoided with better communication.Overall, the lack of transparency, poor communication, and disregard for parental involvement make this a very disappointing experience.

Very disappointed and upset! They yell at people for trying to get their child to school when half of the people are speeding around doing the same thing. They just “yell” at one person. Also, when I go in the main office it seems like it always social hour rather than working. Praying for a change to move my son back to his old school!

They don't follow IEP plans and refuse meetings to update them despite it being against the law. We pulled our kid.

The school is small but the education quality is one of the best. I’m not sure if it’s because they are doing something spectacular or if it’s just because they have many caring staff.

Excellent school, administration is great, very personable and kind. We love Wilson, our only regret is not getting our daughter in sooner! Thank you Wilson for being a great school and safe place for our kiddo.

Excellent and rewarding. All staff and faculty pulling for student success! Family atmosphere! Principal approachable, engaged with open door policy!

Good so far! After reading reviews and test scores, we were worried about sending our son here but overall, all has been well. The teachers and faculty seem to really care about the students and the education that he is receiving is great!
