When I was young I went to this school it's a good school the attitude of the teachers so one is to help the kids in any way that they can they go out of their way as far as I'm concerned to help the kids which is really good really good I went to the School I went from pre-k to 5th grade I have very good teachers I wish I can come and see the school again

I’ve had a challenging experience with Blanton Elementary. While I appreciate some of the teachers, my interactions with the vice principal have been very disappointing. When I called to check on my daughter, I was met with rudeness and a refusal to confirm her presence at school. Even after meeting to discuss the situation, I felt the apology was insincere, especially considering my daughter’s safety was at stake. Overall, I believe the staff, particularly in the main office, could benefit from a more professional and friendly approach. I’m looking forward to finding a better fit for my daughter’s education.

We have loved how the school is positive and reaches out with information about events and how things are going with learning and behaviors. We get a monthly newsletter and weekly message with important updates and information. There is always a way to communicate with the teachers, Principal and Assistant Principal at the night functions, Friday lunches, email, or phone. We enjoy Skyview. It is a good choice for public schools.

Tons of bullying here! It's very upsetting because we have been a family with this school since pre-school and currently have two children enrolled here. The leadership is unaware of the bullying that takes place here and does little to squash it- just brush it under the rug or blame the wrong kids (teacher's kids seem to never do any wrong). It's so difficult for a child to learn in this environment! The academics here are top notch, but the social environment is not good and not watched! Our child excels in sports, is an A student, involved in the arts & band- the school wants students to be involved in all areas, which is great. However, they cater to the teachers' students- they get chosen for awards, positions and never get into trouble! It's very disheartening for a Christian school! Or child is good looking, intelligent & giving, but is constantly bullied by those who think they have "more power" than him because of their family status or parent teacher status!

My son is in their blended Pre-K program. The staff are dedicated, wonderful, and AMAZING. The school offers programs such as swimming, music and art for even the youngest students. I'm heartbroken to hear that they are going to be closing out the Pre-K program here.
