This school has demonstrated ongoing issues with transparency, professionalism, and appropriate student treatment. As parents, we have repeatedly experienced information being withheld or misrepresented regarding our child’s academic performance and classroom conduct. In one instance, a teacher made a false accusation about our child’s behavior, which we were able to disprove. Rather than resolving the issue constructively, this situation further damaged the parent–teacher relationship due to a lack of accountability and professionalism.Several staff members have displayed a condescending and dismissive attitude toward parents, creating an environment that feels adversarial rather than collaborative. Communication from the front office has also been consistently unprofessional and unhelpful, which only compounds these concerns.As parents of multiple children at this school, and as members of a broader community of families who have reported similar experiences, we have formally escalated these concerns to the school board. The district director has acknowledged the complaints and has indicated that an investigation into the school’s practices will be initiated.Of particular concern are disciplinary practices that appear to be routinely applied across entire classes or grade levels, including:1.Silent lunch, which constitutes group punishment and raises legal and policy concerns.2.The repeated denial of recess, reportedly occurring almost daily for one or more grade levels.These practices, combined with the broader issues of communication, integrity, and professionalism, have significantly eroded our trust in the school’s leadership and staff. We believe these matters warrant serious review to ensure that students are treated fairly, lawfully, and with respect.

I am writing this review to document my experience with this school as a parent. My concern is not with individual teachers, but with administrative handling of student safety, communication, and accountability.There have been multiple instances where I was not notified in a timely manner regarding my child’s health and safety, including situations that reasonably required immediate parental awareness. In addition, there have been ongoing concerns regarding how incidents between students are documented, investigated, and communicated to parents.Requests for records and clarification have often been met with incomplete responses or delays, which makes it difficult for a parent to fully understand what occurred and how decisions were made. Transparency and consistency should be a priority in any school environment, especially when it involves student safety and disciplinary actions.I strongly encourage the school and district to review their procedures for incident reporting, parent notification, and record-keeping to ensure that all families are properly informed and supported.Every child deserves to feel safe at school, and every parent deserves clear, timely, and accurate communication.

We have been very pleased with how our children have been taught here. They really care about the students, and have direct intervention when needed. Administration is top notch! It starts there and you can tell the teachers care. I love that it is a PBIS school. The positive behavior support is evident.

This school single-handedly made me lose faith in public education. The principal is awful and will threaten parents with district intervention and possible CPS if you do something awful like pick your child up early. Letters were sent home saying that if your child was held back it was not due to just test scores (spoiler alert metrics like that is all this school cares about). Also, if the 'attendance liaison' has to contact you count on being yelled at as she tells you how many jobs she has and how many kids she takes care of as a single mom and still gets them to school on time. That seems like something that should go in a diary entry not a parent on the phone. Each one of my child's teachers made her feel like she was an annoyance and she hated going to school cause she was bullied. I didn't find out about the bullying until several months later when my kid was getting so much anxiety at school she was losing weight. Finally she broke down in tears in front of me and another staff member while I was dropping her off. I later received communication from her teacher that she had 'no idea' this was happening inside her classroom and if I was under any other assumption I was misinformed. Translation: she was calling my kid a liar without saying it. This school is so unprofessional and treats nearly all the kids like they are just something to get around so they can get a paycheck instead of what they are, the reason you're there. I don't recommend this school, in fact I recommend do what you can to make sure your kid doesn't go there.

Worst school I have ever been to they say there Christian most teachers feel like there demonic or atheist the school treats black people badly and asians as they get the people of colour into trouble and nkt the white people and the teachers says the n word and they are the opposite of Christian
