Read what parents are saying about Palm Bay SDA School and Early Childhood CenterWe currently have a 2 yr old in the Early Childhood Center. On the first day, I was very impressed with the setting up of the class and our child's teacher. After making the decision on sending our 2 yr child to daycare, I was slightly worried that our 2 yr old would fuss on her 1st day since this would be her first time leaving home to a new surrounding. Boy, was I wrong! Our child was so happy on her first day there. When I went back to pick her up at the end of her first day, she was not ready to go home. What was even more impressive, the teacher was able to give me a detailed report of how our child interact with the other children and how adaptive she was. The teacher already understood my child persona: eating, sleeping, and learning pattern. I would definitely recommend this Early Childhood to any other parents who want the very best for their child/ren.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy eldest daughter was at a different school in Palm Bay. Repeatedly I went to her teacher & requested help. I didn't get anywhere. I then turned to the councilor. I was asked, if we were on free or reduced lunch. When I responded by saying no. I was told they would have to see what they could do for my daughter. I called back several times & got no where. I went up the ladder to the principal & every time was asked the same question. Every time I didn't receive help for my daughter educationally. It was extremely refreshing when I came to Lockmar. We came here and have never been asked if we were approved for free or reduced lunch. A students ability to receive services/accommodations should not be determined gaged by their families income level. My daughter has an amazing support system here at Lockmar. The teachers listen to what my daughter has to say. Over the past four years they have worked with us to teach her strategies to work through her learning challenges. If something didn't work then they have worked with us to brainstorm to find something that would work for my daughter. Our lives have been truly blessed by the teachers, staff & management at Lockmar Elementary. We will miss all the teachers when she moves on to middle school a year from now.Other Review7y ago - John F. Turner, Senior Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAshley Toll is the rudest condescending principle. She is unprofessional and rude. If she is rude to the parents.... Can you imagine how she treats the students? She needs to get off her high horse and start doing something about the bullying and fighting going on at the school. This was my children's first year at this school because we are new palm bay residents. Such a horrible experience. I will be removing my children asap from this school.Parent Review1mo ago - Columbia Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been very pleased with how our children have been taught here. They really care about the students, and have direct intervention when needed. Administration is top notch! It starts there and you can tell the teachers care. I love that it is a PBIS school. The positive behavior support is evident.Parent Review6mo ago - Covenant Christian School
