The First Hope of the First Academy

The office never answers the phone or calls you back after leaving messages. No one is prepared when you ask them to do something. The only thing they can tell you is they’re on vacation. And they don’t have no one doing the job when they are out. The principal don’t do anything. They lost my kid and didn’t know where he was. Would not even pay for my child to continue to go to this school here.

Whole child education with teachers and administration that truly care about each student on campus.

No veo la hora en la que pueda cambiar a mi hija de esta escuela . Mi hija es autista y ya había ido a otra escuela en donde eran súper organizandos y amorosos con ella. Desde el primer día que nos tocó conocer a su maestra fue un desastre ,muchos estudiantes no aparecían en el sistema ni en las listas, así que habíamos muchos padres esperando en la oficina con calor y solo 2 personas ayudando a demasiados padres , ahí estuvimos durante 45 minutos. Muy mala organización. El primer día de mi hija ,la llevé al salón y no había nadie , luego me dirigieron al comedor en donde la senté ,salí a buscar unas cosas y cuando regresé ninguna d las maestras la había ayudado a abrir su comida y repito mi hija es autista lo cual necesita la ayuda para todo . Mi hija regresa a casa muy molesta lo cual no es usual , para colmo le perdieron su lonchera y el case donde van los espejuelos y nadie sabe dónde está !!! He preguntado varias veces y nada ! Yo les tuve que recordar que mi hija necesita ayuda para todo! En una ocasión la puse en la guagua escolar y noté que estaba un poco orinada ,pero ya no podía hacer nada , así que pensé en la escuela lo notarán ,ella tiene ropa extra y tiene pullups asumo que la cambiarán ,pero me quedé callada a ver si lo hacían . Mi hija volvió con el mismo pantalón orinado , esto me causa frustración porque sabes que no están cuidando bien de ella. No recomiendo está escuela en lo absoluto !

My family and I were very disappointed with our experience when trying to schedule a school tour. As Deaf parents, we simply asked The First Academy to provide an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter so we could fully understand the information being shared during the tour. Despite multiple emails and opportunities to reconsider, the school declined to provide an interpreter.Instead, we were told to rely on written communication, tablets, and “extra time,” which are not effective or equitable substitutes for real-time ASL access. This does not provide meaningful communication for Deaf adults, especially during an important process like evaluating a potential school for our children. We were also told we could “bring our own interpreter,” which shifts the burden of accessibility onto families rather than meeting basic inclusion standards.We left the interaction feeling that the school was not prepared to support the communication needs of Deaf parents. Accessibility should not be optional, and it should not depend on families paying out-of-pocket to participate.I hope the school takes this feedback seriously and re-evaluates its approach to serving Deaf and hard-of-hearing families in the future.

Very unprofessional and untrustworthy ! Releases students to people not on the list and then threatens to arrest the actual guardian upon arriving to the school.. hope you guys are satisfied because you are now one of the reasons a little girl is gone

teachers are disrespectful to parents lets not speak about the principle who is as races as it can get , Just because the school is in a area that is not the best teachers/staff look down and treat parents different . Have reported staff and school to the board . Can not wait to move my child next year
