Great school my son it’s eager to go every single day, he doesn’t like to miss classes he loved his kinder Teacher also 1st grade. They taught him well and support him. So for now everything it’s going great.

Posted by a parent on 1/22/2020Southwood Elementary has rebounded in a remarkable way. Under the former principal's leadership, the school earned a low "C". After one year under the guidance of the new principal Stacey Tanenbaum, the new grade is a high "B". This is outstanding news for the SouthChase neighborhood!

She cares about the students, parents, teachers and staff. The school is great at communicating with parents and keeping us informed. As with every school, some teachers are great and some are not so great. During my time there, I witnessed the dedication, professionalism, and genuine care that the administration, staff, and educators show toward every student. The environment is supportive, inclusive, and truly focused on helping children grow academically, emotionally, and spiritually.As a parent, I am incredibly grateful for the excellent education my children received at Ibn Seena Academy.
