Read what parents are saying about Roberto Clemente Middle SchoolAdministration is always very responsive quick to take action this school is one of the most comforting school I have ever been part of. The principal and the dean will follow up with concerns. Safety it not an issue police presence is always known.

Posted by a community member on 1/16/2020After much deliberation we joined this school and enrolled in the IB Program. I will say the instructional classroom teachers were well educated, professional, and seemed to manage their classrooms well. Interaction with administration at the grade level and school level was positive. However, the population of students was a negative experience. Our student was bullied and though each situation was handled, it was systemic throughout the our experience. We were told when information gathering about IB that IB students are always separate from the other kids. This was not true. There are grade-level buildings that all children share. Our student had many negative interactions in the hallway and cafeteria with other children. The campus itself is bare and there is profane graffiti in the bathrooms that has not been well covered. I would strongly encourage any parent to consider another program as the educational aspect of the IB program is good but the social environment is very poor which is a critical element of adolescent health.
Posted by a parent on 7/17/2019If possible I would give it a below ZERO! the eight grade counselor has no clue on what he is doing, and this is horrible these kids are supposed to be ready for high school and they are quick to fail them without getting them the help that they need to succeed! If you are thinking of putting tour child in this school please be careful!

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood Shepherd is one of the BEST schools in the area! My Son loved walking in every morning greeted by a warm welcome from all the staff and safety patrol kids! All the teachers in the school are nurturing and loving.. they make learning such a wonderful experience for the kids! Mrs. Heather is one of the greatest Principal we have ever had! And the staff at the school is phenomenal! All so friendly and helpful! The curriculum that Good Shepherd offers is very good one and the teachers cater to each child’s needs… their system of communication is excellent in which they keep the parents informed on what their children’s day to day work/ activities/socialization looks like and pictures are included in the emails .. this of course made my husband and myself feel like we were in the classroom with our son! Good Shepherd is more than just a school it is a community.. we highly recommend joining the Good Shepherd Family! .. you will be giving your child the best education and the most wholesome environment possible!!!!Parent Review1y ago - Orlando Christian Prep

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been at Azalea Park Baptist School since 1st grade and is now in middle school. She has been excelling academically since she started there. She came from pubic school and at Azalea Park Baptist School she learned to read and is now in honor roll. Middle school is challenging as kids grow up; but I am glad she is in small classes, a safe environment (the school has cameras and vaping detector). If a student decides to make a bad choice they have deans that look into it. This year and last year just like many school the had changes in staff but I learned that some public schools had substitutes in all classrooms so I guess it is a problem for many schools. They have tutoring and school counselor, they don't have a nurse (which i think they can use). They also have soccer, track, volleyball and basketball. My daughter used to be in their cheerleading team and track team. Now that she is a teen she does not want to do anything but at least they have the sports for kids that want to participate. The most important thing is that they use a Christian curriculum for elementary Abeka and for high school Bob Jones. this is important for my family because we feel the public system is just trying to indoctrinate children to accept and participate in things that perhaps not all parents want their kids to. I think when children should not be sexualized at an early age, they should be allow to be children and once they reach an age where they any any sexual interest they could explore it. Classrooms are not the place to emphasis gender identity, sexual preference etc. This school focuses on academic excellence and spiritual maturity and that is why I highly recommended.Parent Review6mo ago - Avery Academy
