As someone was leaving, I stood by the door waiting — I didn’t try to push my way in or anything. I was simply waiting politely to see if I could enter. Then a staff member suddenly spoke to me in a rude tone, saying I had to “wait for the buzz,” and even tried to close the door. I understand there are safety rules, but there was no reason to speak to me that way. I was just standing there, not doing anything wrong.I hope the staff can treat parents and grandparents with more kindness and respect in the future.Parent Review11mo ago17 Reviews - Azalea Park Elementary School

DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE IF THEY HAVE A DISORDER!!Other Review9mo ago11 Reviews - Alpha Christian Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGood Shepherd is one of the BEST schools in the area! My Son loved walking in every morning greeted by a warm welcome from all the staff and safety patrol kids! All the teachers in the school are nurturing and loving.. they make learning such a wonderful experience for the kids! Mrs. Heather is one of the greatest Principal we have ever had! And the staff at the school is phenomenal! All so friendly and helpful! The curriculum that Good Shepherd offers is very good one and the teachers cater to each child’s needs… their system of communication is excellent in which they keep the parents informed on what their children’s day to day work/ activities/socialization looks like and pictures are included in the emails .. this of course made my husband and myself feel like we were in the classroom with our son! Good Shepherd is more than just a school it is a community.. we highly recommend joining the Good Shepherd Family! .. you will be giving your child the best education and the most wholesome environment possible!!!!Parent Review3y ago20 Reviews - Orlando Christian Prep

All of the teachers and staff members at OCP are so caring and patient. They do everything with a high level of integrity, care and professionalism. I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to give their children, a Christ centered education.Parent Review4mo ago17 Reviews - Azalea Park Baptist School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible administration. My children started the enrollment process with this school, but before the school year began, we had to move out of town. We notified the school the day after they received our children's official records from their previous school and informed them that our children would not be attending for the upcoming school year. The school is now refusing to release those records unless we pay a $500 fee per student. We have three children, so they are demanding $1,500 to release records that did not even originate from their school.I understand that schools may have enrollment policies and fees. However, since the school year has not started, our children have never attended classes there, and we never signed an enrollment contract, these charges seem unreasonable. It feels less like enforcing a policy and more like taking advantage of the situation to collect money.I emailed Director Alexa Ortega and the church administration to explain our situation. The response I received was essentially, "Sorry for your emergency" (even though this was not an emergency, we simply had to relocate), followed by a statement that they could not help us unless we paid the $1,500. They even ended the email by saying, "Hopefully you can keep them enrolled here at the school," despite the fact that I had clearly explained we were moving out of town.Based on this experience, I found the administration to be unhelpful, inflexible, and unwilling to work with families facing unexpected changes. I encourage anyone considering this school to carefully review its enrollment policies before providing student records or beginning the enrollment process.Parent Review1mo ago64 Reviews
