Lake Gem Elementary School

Avoid this school your child’s safety. They are not professional at all! There is only a 1 or 2 mentally stable teachers. When there was a SERIOUS issue that happened with my son “Another student wanted to shoot my son” and the teacher and principal did NOTHING because that was there last year there. They put pride flags in the classrooms when they DO NOT BELONG IN SCHOOLS.

It should have 0 rating. Horrible school, students are rude/out of control, principal Frett Bowie is very rude and dismissive. She lacks leadership and professionalism. Some teachers are good. Profanity and fights are very common. Administrators favor certain teachers. The rest are just a number.

Was looking for private schools in my area for my children. Kingsway Christian academy was the closest one to us. I was told to bring in my children’s report cards from previous year for principal to look over. Four days later I received a phone call stating that she doesn’t think my children will be a good fit and they follow a Becca curriculum and it’s very advance if she think my children will be left behind. I informed her are you getting all this information just from the report card without even testing my children first? She said well the testing is a total of $50. I told her the money isn’t the issue . You basically judge my children based off a report card from their kindergarten year. I was so disappointed in the school being called a christian school And judging my children without even meeting them.

I made the decision to enroll my daughter at Radiant Life Academy and it one if the best decisions I ever made. The teachers have a genuine interest in their student's success. The Principal is a great example of one who is serving in her purpose. She has a genuine love for the students. I was picking up my daughter one afternoon over the summer break and I asked how things were going with summer school, she began to tell me all that the students were doing, with a light in her eyes that was just amazing to watch. Some teachers were born and I believe she is one of those born for the purpose of empowering the next generation. If you are searching for a place where your child/children will be nurtured physically, emotionally and spiritually, then Radiant Life Academy is a great place to consider.
