After some bad experience with school for my autistic son, I found this school and our experience is being great, this s my son third year attending this school, he has learned a lot, and he loves going there, and that tells everything to me because he is non verbal but I can't tell when he doesn't
Posted by a parent on 11/30/2020Terrible. The worst part is parent pay so much money so they think they are sending their kids to a quality school, and they don’t realize their kids are sitting in a class doing nothing all day with teachers and staff that aren’t trained or certified in anything

They have all the family members of the principal, teachers working at the school. The therapist are on the phone texting all the time when they suppose to be in therapy with the kids.

All questions and concerns are address before we are ask/accepted to enroll our special, precious children into the Academy. One of the areas that I appreciate the most is their communication and the care and support they give my child. This year they started a new program that has really helped my child who has struggled in the past. My child's teacher gives her one-on-one tutoring as needed. My child is not just a number she feels heard and feels important. My child attended a few years ago and experienced ongoing bullying that was not addressed, and some of the staff also behaved inappropriately and unprofessionally. The situation affected my child so much that we needed to seek therapy. I honestly only feel comfortable talking about this now, six years later — imagine that. I even emailed the archdiocese at the time, and they told me to speak with the principal or vice principal, but nothing was being done and the leadership felt very poor. When I tried to escalate the issue to leadership at the school, nothing meaningful changed. The only positive part of the school was a few kind teachers and staff members.
