Oldsmar Christian School

Lowry is a great school. The importance of elementary school can’t be measured. With one primary teacher and the life setting goals it’s so important to get the right fit with that one teacher. They can change a child’s life by keeping them excited for the upcoming years and teaching the fundamentals. I have not experienced a teacher at Lowery not able to accomplish this goal. I highly recommend Lowry Elementary School.

Used to be a decent school when Dr. Moss was there. The new principal came from private school and it shows. Has no respect for the ESE kids, if you push back she will send you packing. A lot of the teachers here are just buying time until retirement. Only a handful of teachers TRULY care and most of them are in the ESE team. HUGE issue with bullying!! Talked to multiple parents who have switched their kids out of Oldsmar due to the bullying problem.

My kids have been very happy at this school. The teachers really care about the students and their success. We feel comfortable with the measures they have taken during the pandemic. We have had no instances of bullying with my two kids. I feel that communication with parents could be improved upon. It would be nice to see like a weekly flyer or something letting us know what the kids are working on.

This school has been run to the ground. It is very telling that in the past 4 years over 50 teachers have left. The principal has been very disrespectful to staff and faculty. It carries over to the kids. We are not sending our kid back here this year due to her unpleasant nature and lack of experience. She has such an ego she won't even quit when people have been trying to get her for for years. The diocese won't do anything either. So they're just as much to blame. The teachers in middle school are horrifying. One ela teacher in particular is a bully. He should not be teaching our youth. The technology department is terrible my child learned nothing. The teacher would just talk about himself or sit at his desk. It seems as though certain teachers are favored and the good ones leave. Our child was bullied and nothing was done. I cannot believe this school is still functioning. Not to mention the administration fell apart. Spare your child. Let them enjoy school. It's sad to watch the school we love go down. Oh and the priest needs to go too.

This school honestly sucks. I have dealt with bullying and harassment for my three years at ESCS, and no one should ever have to feel this way especially at a Catholic school. It’s unbelievable. Many teachers are nasty and rude, which is completely unfair and unacceptable. Everyone I know who has attended this school warns others to stay away because of how poorly everything is handled. They say to “follow the gifts of the Holy Spirit,” but in reality, they don’t practice what they preach. Another major issue is that the school focuses on small, silly problems instead of addressing the serious ones that actually matter.
