Okeechobee Adventist Christian School

Central Elementary has a great bilingual program. it is preparing our children to understand the foundation of Spanish in an academic way setting goals and giving parents support to learn Spanish, too. Wonderful teachers who are always worried about how each child is growing. They are all giving the best to our children every day. I really recommend that Okeechobee School Board extends the program to all elementary schools. Okeechobee cannot be falling behind in Florida Bilingual Education.

Maybe good if you don’t have special needs child or have adhd. Abuse and steps backwards this school caused are forever going to be an issue for us now.

In the previous years, the school has been awesome. teacher, staff. however this past year they had a new principal which she has never been approachable. She is rude towards parents when trying to speak with her there is no reasoning with her. There were two times she sat there and argued with me when I was simply trying to have a conversation while my son was in the car in the morning and getting ready for drop off. Of all the years that my children have gone to the school I have never had an issue. the previous principles, They all have been awesome. I really wish this year. We do not have the same principal at North elementary.

MY daughter just finished her first grade year and Everglades, and it was a great experience! Her progress this year was outstanding. The teachers and staff really care about their students and that makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this school to others.

I have two kids at Seminole. My oldest earned a "B" once on a report card, the rest have been "A's" for the last 3 years. His FCAT scores reflect that since they have been 4's and 5's. My youngest has earned nothing less than an "A" in his 2 years at Seminole. In first grade the teacher had him reading and comprehending text on a 5th grade level. Their overall FCAT scores indicate that Seminole ranks as one of the best elementary schools in the district.
