We live this school! Have not had any problems since attending here!!

Terrible school.They constantly ask for ID. Knowing you for years and even if your child screams it out. They need ID. Or do they? I walked into that school about four times. Not even the main office asked me for an ID. Also the lady told me to leave my child at the cafeteria knowing it’s his first day and that I would like to meet the teacher. He has needs that I would like to bring up so I had to ask someone else for help and get a chance to speak to his teacher. The entire time no ID. I walked out through the main office at the end even tho I didn’t park at the spot because I wanted them to see that they couldn’t help me but someone else more reliable did.Basically I got what I wanted done and the people in the main office are just unreliable and lazy.Maybe they should hire security guards and definitely use a better ID tool to save parents in a system like how some other schools and hospitals do it. Also hire new staff. Again the woman at the main office couldn’t even send one message to a teacher. She expected me to just leave my son alone without meeting his teacher on the first day? What?My second son gets good grades but his reading and writing are lacking.My youngest had his elbow dislocated and got a wheel chair run him over but most importantly I don’t feel they care about him. There’s one woman there who seems to be concerned but then the other lady was very questionable.I think if you have a special needs boy that can’t communicate well to be very wary. I change his diaper every morning before school but you can tell they don’t like that he uses diapers still. They give the impression that they rather not deal with him.Special events are lacking here too. Anyways I don’t think my kids are learning and I definitely don’t believe this school is safe. They are outdated. I think if someone showed them a fake id that stranger can get away with it.I know this is confusing and messy but just know I do not recommend this school.

This is only my second day at school with the new students and so far the principal is inconsiderate. They have so many rules yet they don’t post them anywhere and only certain people enforce them. They make you wait 15 minutes to get your kid from the pick up line in the boiling hot. They take 15 minutes to decide if they’re gonna let the walkers actually cross the street or let the buses go first. So the kids are sitting outside in the hot sun as well as the parents and the parents can’t even sit on the benches right in front of us because we are supposed to stand on the sidewalk waiting for them to get it together. They can do better.

The teachers and administration truly love the students and care about their education. My child's education and behavior toward school has changed for the better in the last three years.

I just read the review about the ADHD child, and how the parent holds the school wholly & personally responsible for their child being passed on; while failing math. I believe that the parent should be the child's First teacher, and should partnership with the teacher to meet as best they can, the needs of each child. Just because the classes are smaller than in public school, does'nt guarantee that each child will learn & excel the "same". I have a 4 yr. college degree, but I did not recieve "Specialized Training" to deal with learning disabilities. You see "specialized training" commands more monetary compensation, and No school can afford to put every learning deficient child - one-on-one- with a specialized teacher . Fl. Public School- Salary $28K/Year. Instead, teacher's struggle with the political mandate of "No Child Left Behind" - And, All of the blame from parents. Be part of the solution for children, not part of the problem.
