0 stars..... This has to be the worst of the worst y'all. You'll be worrying if your child is safe and has eaten all day. Bullying is at an all time high for this school and teachers either don't pay attention or don't care. If you can avoid this school you should.

I don't understand the school that will not allow you to be active in your child's academics? I was told that I could volunteer, but I couldn't be a volunteer for my child

Let's not talk about the third grade teachers who don't check homework folders, yet, mark in the planners they didn't do it. The god awful amount of homework each night. Posted by a teacher on 5/9/2013I will warn you not to take your child to College Park Elementary for the following reasons... if your child is bullied on the bus or school they will not do what is to be done for your childs safety. I had this happen to my child on the bus and i waited for a responce back from the school

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to love this school but things have gone down hill. My oldest, now in 5th grade, has been there since kindergarten. His experience has been pretty good up until the last two years. My youngest started last year and it’s been a nightmare. Teachers are overwhelmed and short fused, student behavior is out of control, and things aren’t organized anymore. I sent my kids here because they are smart and I wanted the best for the them, but the hype about this place is gone. There are some awesome teachers here, IF your child gets them. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWow! I cannot believe all the positive reviews I see! So amazing tbat they are all posted on similar dates. I know the leadership of this school, and it is very coniving! I can't imagine so many people ACTUALLY feel positive about this school. The only explanation for the positive reviews is that it was assigned to the teachers by the warped headmaster. This school has no leadership, teachers are on their own without support or training.
