Broadview Elementary School

My daughter currently attends NLE, going into the 2nd grade and the experience has been great. I am a parent who keeps a close relationship with her teachers from pre-k and we worked as a team. My daughter has excelled in every subject and scored above her grade level. I am very pleased with the education and teachings she has received. Her teachers have been amazing! Each parent will have their own experience with the school/teachers. Parents, I would encourage that you keep a close relationship with your child’s teacher(s). It takes a village!!!!Btw, my now 2nd grader will be my 4th child to graduate from NLE.

Once upon a time this was a great school with awesome teachers. Now this school has gone downhill. Most of teachers that was there from when my child started school has left. This year was a disaster. There was no communication between teachers and parents, you had no clue the progress of your child. If you left a message for a teacher about a concern, they call you back after 2 weeks. The front office staff are very rude and needs phone etiquette training because all they do is hang up the phone in your face. Parents, please do your diligence before you send your child to this school.

A teacher completed an assessment of my 5-year-old with the most hostile and aggressive tone and when I asked for a meeting to discuss the situation, my son was kicked out of school immediately. That is the culture of a Christian academy. My son has lost his friends and community 8 months into the school year. This is the retaliatory behavior that is present at the school. He wasn't shown no grace or compassion and there was no room for discussion. Moral of the story, don't advocate for your children, it is not welcomed.
