Oak View Middle School

I had the worst first impression of Ms Shealy the new school principal! She told me some things about who could pick my child up from school that was very disturbing as a parent. If you have someone that’s handicapped they don’t care if they can walk inside the school or not! The principal didn’t care about my concerns she told me she would charge extra for car tags ($5). I asked could I see this in writing and I asked was it policy. Nobody could show me or let me see it today I was told they will get back with me. Also the principal never asked my name or for my identification. Then the teachers holding my child against her will and wouldn’t let my child up to get into her parent car. The teacher put a cone in front my car. I had to put my car in park to walk and walk to her because the wouldn’t release her. No she’s upset and afraid that teachers will do it again after school tomorrow. I did report it to the school district but the principal assured me that would say exactly what she (principal) and I’m waiting on their response of why my child was held against her will!
