Calusa Elementary School

This school pick up and drop off is absolutely ridiculous. They do not pay attention and help kids like they should. They disrespect your vehicle in pick up line by dragging magnet across hood after being asked to stop. The teachers are very involved in dancing around and playing on their phones though. Handle bullies pretty well but communication with parents is not priority.

Cotee River also fosters a strong sense of community. Families are encouraged to be involved, communication is open and consistent, and the school regularly celebrates student success in meaningful and fun ways. Whether it's engaging classroom activities, creative school events, or supportive intervention programs, everything the school does is centered on helping students thrive.

This school protects the bullies. One parents that's aloud to pull into the parking lot tried to hit me, then chased after my car in the drop-off lane on foot, they then waited for me, about 10 mins, to go around the loop to walk after my car and yell at me more and the school has done nothing about it. I've sent an email, and called. Ive heard nothing back.

Both of my children started here in vpk. My daughter will be in 8th this year and my son will finish middle school here too. They have thrived here.

In my experience Miss Kaley is the best teacher I have ever met the way she cares and treats the children is amazing!!!!!!! Keep it up!!!!
