4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student at Golden Gate, with my youngest sibling still attending. This school is always pushing to be better in all areas. They consistently provide programs to better yourself, whether your pathway is trade, education, or, to some extent, sport. Fast forward I have graduated with my bachelors and am still connected with many old teachers. I also offer to connect with their students, mainly because of the impact I know the instructors look to make.I didn't get to decide my school, but I'm very proud to claim my alma mater!-Arcaim LallemandOther Review2y ago6 Reviews - Mike Davis Elementary School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience with the lower school was deeply disappointing. The campus looks impressive and they seem to win everyone over with nice breakfast and lunch, but that's where it all ends. The lower school is especially bad. While the upper school is more modern, the lower school feels like you just stepped into 1980. It's ran by people that are completely incompetent and have little regard for children.Academically, the lower school leans hard on conformity. Instead of meeting kids where they are, the approach is to push generic worksheet templates from Etsy on them, then act like that's teaching. For an elementary program, the staff and administration here is about as cold as you can get.Student support did not match the tuition. Counseling and learning resources were hard to access, classroom expectations were inconsistent, and no follow through on promises. New families are welcomed with nice events, but once school starts you quickly find out what this place really is... a networking group for mediocre income parents. They really don't care about the children much, almost as if using them as tools to make connections. People here care about making an extra $40k per year than they do about the children.Every school has a bad day, but what mattered here was the pattern. Lower school leadership is anything but child centered. If you are looking for a place that partners with parents, adapts to individual learners, and communicates openly, you should keep looking. The branding by their marketing team is very well done, but other than that, this school is just a money grab and a poor experience for your children.Parent Review8mo ago11 Reviews - Able Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGrace Community School in Port Charlotte should be closed down. My child only attended a small amount of time and was tramatized by this school. They have way to many kids and not enough teachers, they are dirty, they are uncaring, and they lack any kind of dignity a daycare should have. I would not recommend this school to anyone. They advertise that they have the loasted rates, well you get what you pay for! Dont go that way when it comes to your kids please. The kids that go there are out of control too.Parent Review11y ago1 Reviews
