Today was my daughter’s first day as a fourth grader, however, my son completed fifth grade there last year. My daughter has never been in a public school, as she is a gymnast and requires a special schedule for training. I came on here to right a review RAVING about how absolutely amazing everyone at this school has been from day one, but found myself disappointed by how the school is categorized academically. So first, I want to ease parents of new students minds. Don’t pay attention to what the site says about testing scores and improvement statistics. It’s an unfair assessment, as you have primarily Spanish speaking children trying to take English written standardized tests. This reflects nothing of the teachers and the schools efforts.. I know this because my son has received 5s on all his testing through this school! This also follows into what I was originally going to write a review about..this principal is phenomenal. He has gone above and beyond to help us through our enrolling process..even working on our case through late nights and weekends! Trust me when I say it is clear that he cares about his students! The rest of the staff was just as amazing! They welcomed my daughter with hugs and smiles, gave her a complete tour of “how to” everything and anything in that school..completely put her at ease! These people and this school are amazing..5 stars aren’t enough!
