Read what parents are saying about Tynes Elementary SchoolOur daughter is in 4th grade and we really love this school. They are hard on bullying and the teachers genuinely care for their students. We interact with our daughters teachers on a regular basis which is wonderful. Our daughter has an IEP and they really do what they can to help her succeed. They promote respect between students and with staff. The principal is very engaged and is reasonable with students and parents. I can’t say enough just how great this school is.
Posted by a parent on 4/30/20222 children have attended this school and have never had any issues. The leadership and staff are great. The teachers care about their students and don’t allow them to be disruptive to others.

Posted by a parent on 10/22/2018Overall Tynes is a decent school, but it has it's flaws. I'm not sure if Florida schools just aren't funded properly, but kids and parents have to pay for nearly every extra thing they get to do. They also do not handle bullying very well. They are afraid to confront parents when their children misbehave and it unfortunately takes an actual act to happen before they step in and stop it or suspend the kids involved. The buildings outside need updating, and there is no inside gym.

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageUnhappy with our experience here. Considering other schools that have better equity. Need school leadership that truly cares about the students enough to visit the classrooms. Leadership that also cares for the teachers as well. Moving kids out of classrooms is not stability in their lives. Students with disabilities should not be moved around.Parent Review6mo ago - Coppergate Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThey need a lot of improvements starting with their Principal to the staff. Very supremacist and cold. They are pretending that theh will treat your child like a family but the truth, they would not. Please think multiple times if you want to send your kids to this pretend home of God.Parent Review1y ago - Pinewood Christian Academy

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur experience at Pinewood has been wonderful. My son started Pinewood in VPK. We only planned to have him there for VPK, but we fell in love with the school and we kept him there (now he’s in 8th grade)! It has been another financial cost to keep him in private school, but the rewards have been abundantly worth it. I believe it is still the most affordable private school in the area. Pinewood’s class size is small and we don’t have to worry about too many kids crowded in a classroom. Also, if my son needs extra help or has questions about a lesson, his teachers make themselves available before and after school for extra help. Most importantly, the children get to learn about God every day. My son has always received a Bible lesson every day, and their chapel is weekly. The school’s primary emphasis is raising Christ followers, which is extremely important to our family. Academics and electives are very good here too. Field trips and all the annual big school events are always very fun to students and families. One of the best decisions we ever made was enrolling our son here!Parent Review4y ago
