10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child has attended North Beach for 6 years and I can say that this is an EXCELLENT school! The teachers are committed to their students development and students are regularly recognized for their accomplishments building their sense of confidence and joy of learning. Projects and assignments are developed to help stretch children's thinking. Many comments on this site about this being a public school run like a private school. I would agree and am very thankful for that! The workload on students is high with homework almost every night, but the kids get used to the workload and it prepares them for everything that comes next. If you're a parent that doesn't believe homework is important, then this is NOT the school for you. Also, many comments disparaging the "rich yoga moms". To be clear, these moms donate their time and resources to make NBE a terrific elementary school for all. Specifically, they play an active role in helping to organize classroom events, they help fund incremental teachers for those that need more support and they volunteer to support the school whenever needed. Overall, an outstanding school in a terrific community filled with caring families.Parent Review2y ago32 Reviews - Treasure Island Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with this school has been horrible. Children do not get the right accommodations, lack of information to provide to parents and kids about everything or anything can be of testing coming up or important information of programs that may help my child thrive. The communication between staff members and administration and teachers is horrible. I honestly would never ever recommend this school to anyone.Other Review2mo ago15 Reviews - Casa dei Bambini Montessori School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI moved my two daughters to MASJ from "the best" Montessori in Boston. I can say, without a doubt, that the education level at MASJ easily surpasses Boston. What is more, is that the entire team is comprised of loving and caring educators. This 100% includes the administration. The location is absolutely beautiful. The children have play and (homemade) lunch time with a water view, and last month, a Manatee swam up to them. My older daughter is now at Miami Country Day and is a straight A student, thanks to the fundamentals she received at MASJ. I cannot recommend this school highly enough.Parent Review4y ago11 Reviews - Rasg Hebrew Academy

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a private school with a new building and for some reason classes are crowded with 30 students per teacher, making it impossible to teach. There are a LOT of students with severe behavioral issues. There is zero discipline and students are allowed to to whatever they want including being aggressive and threatening teachers, copying and cheating without any consequences. They take advantage of their socio-economic status to evade the rules and have a dismissive and disrespectful behavior with others. The admin only worries about pleasing their unruly students because they are afraid of losing the tuition money. Teachers have to submit and accept that the kids rule the school.Other Review1y ago12 Reviews - Landow Yeshiva Center

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy best advice for parents who want the best for their child's education is to avoid this school !!! Now that we can compare with a next-door public school, the latter's academics are much better as well as the care and consideration given to students. The counselors, or any staff, does not encourage students in progressing, and reject their demands in ascending to higher programs. They suppress any kind of self-esteem by their wrong judgements. There was a case where one student could not move up to honors because of his accent ! This is personally extremely outrageous. More importantly, money, and only money talks in this school.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews
