8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m writing this review with the intent of providing honest feedback in the hopes that it encourages improvement. While the school may have potential in certain areas, my experience with the front office administration has been deeply disappointing.Unfortunately, the people skills displayed by some of the administrative staff have made communication and basic interactions far more difficult than they should be. Professionalism, courtesy, and a welcoming attitude are essential especially in a school environment where families and students should feel supported and respected. Sadly, these qualities have been lacking.I sincerely hope that leadership takes steps to improve front office training and culture. A warm and respectful first impression goes a long way, and a school’s front office should reflect the values and integrity of the entire institution. It’s unfortunate that I feel the need to write this, but I hope it serves as constructive feedback. Our experience with Olympia Elementary’s front office has been extremely disappointing. The staff has consistently come across as rude, dismissive, and more focused on discussing their next vacation than addressing real concerns from parents. As a parent, it’s disheartening to be met with such indifference when trying to resolve an issue affecting my child. Communication should be helpful, solutions-focused, and respectful none of which we experienced during our time here. For these reasons, we’ve made the decision to remove our child from Olympia Elementary. We truly hope the school takes a closer look at the tone and professionalism being set by those who are often the first point of contact for families.Parent Review11mo ago7 Reviews - Rockway Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSending our child to this school was the best decision we could have made. Initially, our child had some behavioral issues, but the staff encouraged us to be patient and allow him to find his footing. After a year, we discovered he was a gifted student. The staff went above and beyond to identify the issue, which turned out to be that he was simply bored and not being challenged enough in class.Once he was tested, his performance improved significantly. The staff worked closely with us to find the right tools and strategies to support our child's development. I highly recommend this school to everyone. The staff feels like family, and both you and your children will feel at home here.Parent Review1y ago7 Reviews - Tropical Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLOVE this school, administration, security guards and especially the teachers. My son is in the ESE program and has progressed SO MUCH in one year and a half. But i saw the progression in a few months after his start date, very grateful for this school. I love the support, commuication, and care the teachers and staff have towards my child and us (the parents), including on zoom calls. I couldnt be happier with this school.Parent Review4y ago16 Reviews - Pizarro School for Montessori

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOur family was part of Florida Christian School for several years, and unfortunately our experience declined significantly over time. While there are individual teachers who genuinely care about their students, the overall environment has become increasingly rigid, inconsistent, and discouraging for families. There is a strong sense of favoritism at this school that was really disappointing to witness. It felt very cliquish, and some students with serious behavior issues were given immunity simply because of who their families knew. That doesn’t feel Christ-like, and it definitely didn’t feel like a healthy or fair environment for the kids who were doing the right thing. The school also struggles with very high teacher turnover. This lack of consistency affects students’ learning and relationships, and often reflects underlying problems with leadership, morale, and support for staff. The school appears to be pushing academics extremely hard in the younger grades in an effort to improve its long-standing reputation for weak academics. Unfortunately, this pressure is developmentally inappropriate for young children and creates unnecessary stress for students, families, and teachers. We truly value Christian education, and we wanted this school to be a long-term home for our family. The strength FCS has is the parent involvement and the school has improved aesthetically. However, based on our experience, we cannot recommend Florida Christian School to parents who are looking for a supportive, developmentally appropriate, and collaborative environment for their children.Parent Review5mo ago43 Reviews - King's Christian School

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKCS is a wonderful school! If you are looking for a small school, K2 through high school, where the faculty and staff really care about your child, this is the school for you. There is one class per grade, small class sizes and a warm and loving environment. The school does its very best to teach and challenge students, while sharing Christ and His love. I have worked at three different schools in the office, and I can honestly say KCS is the best around!Other Review2y ago30 Reviews - St Brendan Elementary School
