Oak Grove Elementary School

Where do I begin.....the first few words of one of my favorite songs. This school year begins my 13th year working at North Miami Elementary, 38 total. My career as an educator has only been at three schools. Each of those schools has been a wonderful learning experience for me as well. The main reason why I know my school is exceptional is the staff member behind the scenes. The cafeteria ladies, the office staff, and most importantly the janitorial crew make North Miami Elementary a very special home-a-away from home to over 600 students daily. Without them the administration and teachers would be lost. So I proudly statue each and everyone of them! Now you know what makes North Miami Elementary a true "LOVE" story!

I absolutely love this school. I wish I never left the area and had to move my daughter from this school. The staff and everyone was amazing there. They worked with my daughter and assured she got all the help she needed. After my mom passed away the counselor would check on her and meet with her to assure of her mental well being. Til this day her favorite teacher is Mr. Jean who isn't even a teacher anymore. Thank you SP for being so awesome.

This is the worst school ever i can’t wait till my daughter leaves here the middle school principal said she had CSI my child didn’t wanna do it so I came and picked her up the principal talked to me saying she got suspended and now she called my daughter to the office telling her she needs to do 3 days of CSI. You will see roaches on the floor in the cafeteria this school is dirty unclean. My child keep getting sick worst principal the elementary principal is okay but the middle school is the worst and the main principal Ms.young needs to come back

Words can’t express my opinions on this school

Way behind the times in Academics in both Judaic and Secular studies. Administrators lack professionalism and leadership skills. This school is not for families who have a high standard in mind for educating their children.
