En mi opinion... la escuela va por buen camino,para que nuestros niños puedan alcanzar un nivel más alto,académicamente hablando,deberíamos de formar un equipo empezar nosotros como padres a hablar y guiar a nuestros hijos para que puedan alcanzar la meta,no dejarle todo el peso a los msestros,pir mi parte considero que mi hija wsta en el porcentaje de alcanzar logros,pero eso se debe a un equipo..padre hijo maestro....en la casa es dondecempezamos a firmarlos con la ayuda de los maestros claro!el éxito de nuestros hijos depende en gran manera de los padres,nosotros somos los que tenemos que guiarlos,ser su bastón para..

Terrible fourth grade Math teacher lack of passion for students learning, homework is done at home therefore homework scores and assignments must return home for parents or guardian to assess , motivate and encourage . That way home can verify graded results. Even if the assignment is done right teacher marks it wrong. My child was marked F from the beginning of school quarter child is Still F. Child left 3rd grade with C. Teacher shows no concern for the outcome of the student only there for their income . Sad!!

I have to say I love the zero tolerance foe bullying that Dr. Mckoy has implemented. Every time I've had issues in regards to bullying Dr. Mckoy addressed the issue immediately ! I am so happy with how he handles situations and its very sad this school has such low ratings when itssuch a great school with great staff.

Once was lost and now found. Found this school during one of our toughest moments during Covid. David and Leila Centner graciously opened their doors to our family. Centner Academy is not just a school. It’s a small environment but LARGE with parents, teachers and staff that are different from the norm. They are extremely caring and nurturing and connect on a real level. They look you in the eye. They want to understand and hear you.We needed to have confidence that if our son were to spend a great deal of time with people, they were going to be top class with high integrity, and wouldn’t waver on values because of political agendas. We wanted a place where he would have an enforcement of the same values he has at home; hard work, integrity, truth, love, honor and respect. This was the place that changed it all. Our business was shut down during Covid as non-essential and we lost everything. Had the family not offered us financial assistance, we would not have been able to afford it. Again, based on their generosity, we were able to still attend school without the burden of having to worry about our financial situation.While the world was locked down and the kids were masked and handcuffed to their laptops at home, Centner opened their world to us where our son could be free from chaos, panic and manipulation. They offered our son a place where he could build meaningful relationships and learn how to critically think; an attribute we were having difficulty finding in the schools we researched. He learned about entrepreneurship and about building a business of his own. He also learned where food comes from and spent his time connecting to the soil and animals at the Centner Farm. He learned about clean food, bad chemicals and clean air and water. What he learned was not traditional with tests and memorization drills. It was deep learning with skills he could take with him for the rest of his journey. This has definitely shaped the wonderful young man he has become today and we are forever grateful.
