Maitland Middle School

Very disappointed in this school that I thought would be my son's school, he started in VPK and just two weeks before finishing the program they tell me that the child is expelled for absences. They made that decision just like that, when most of the absences were due to health problems justified by their doctor with evidence. I had to lie to the boy saying that school ended today. A very unfair decision by English Estates Elementary School. I hope this comment will serve as an experience for all the mothers who start with their children in public schools and choose the best school for their child so that what happened to me does not happen to them.

Horrible school! Registration was rude and yelled at me! When I said she gave me an attitude she said that I was lying and making excuses! Now I’m going to a private school and I’m living in the school zone! Do not bother with this school!

My kids are thriving here, it’s a wonderful neighborhood school with excellent staff. We are big supporters of public school and wish more parents in the neighborhood wouldn’t overlook LSE for private school!

This can be a wonderful school for some. Our experience wasn't as great. The classrooms are really small with 20-30 kids packed in, making for a distracting environment. We also don't feel the value is there. It's one of the more expensive private schools in Central Florida and you don't get a lot of the experiences/extra curriculars that others offer, due to the small size of the campus. Montessori has always been a beacon for students who need special accomodations, but at this school it feels very rigid. Students are expected to stay quiet, calm, and listen perfectly at all times with no room for error or accommodation. They also don't have a good foundation/policy for discipline that helps the kids learn from their choices.

The sweetest and most special school. It has become like a second home to my children and I couldn't have better things to say. The school not only makes my children feel safe and comfortable, but they go above and beyond to understand each individual child's learning style and personality. My kids genuinely enjoy and look forward to going to school every day. The curriculum is incredible and I have seen such a difference between my young child that has gone to school there since they were little versus one of my other child that went to a different school for their first few years. I highly recommend.

Great school. There are 2 teachers in the entire school that i would replace. 1 in the lower grades, 1 in middle school. Other than that the staff is wonderful.

We have been part of the Park Maitland family for 10 years. We could not have asked for a better foundation of education for our kids. Park Maitland has provided a level above anything else with education. Our daughters are now off to high school and are a level above their grade level. They have encouraged compassion, kindness, respect and love. Park Maitland is a true family experience. Our children have made lifelong friendships with their peers.
