Prek/Kindergarten Center

If you have ever had a child in Duval Co. schools, you would know that this is top of the line and advanced compared to other educational institutions and they are even teaching the children ahead of grade levels. Love the teacher, Mrs. Southey, extended day staff and office staff. Fantastic manners, clean and organized. Plenty of play stimulation with serious curriculum. Children are not allowed to be unruly so much as to affect other students. No complaints of bullying from my child like the last two institutions in Duval Co.'s "Early Learning" type of "Academy" for daycare, and an Elementary school in Duval. Baker Co. doesn't seem to allow students to disrupt learning and emotional stability of other students. Thanks Macclenny Elementary!! Jessica W

This school is outstanding. All three of my boys have been in Mrs. Fort's school and I love the great job she does in leading all the students and staff.

This school is in a very bad neighborhood. They need to relocate it. I don't even feel safe walking my child to school each day. In my day the schools never locked their gates and yet this ones chained and locked. Not even in mandarin are gates locked. And what's with not being able to walk your child to class? Are they hiding something. I use to walk my daughter to class everyday till she went to middle school. I want to make sure my child reaches his class with my own two eyes. Don't see a problem with that. The two teachers my son gas this year are great, he loves them. That's really all I have good to say. Look at year my son was told he'd be tackled and bakeracted if he didn't listen....NOT COOL!!!!!

This school is awesome. My child has Asperger's and didn't fit in at public school, was in special education classes, and I got called three days a week to come and pick him up. We transferred to this school last year, and Andrew had almost five straight months of no phone calls, and only one partly bad day. The atmosphere is great for the kids, and he loves it. This year they are teaching music, and he is learning a trumpet.
