I've always heard that this was a terrible school with the laziest teachers in the bay county school system. Well now i know first hand that it's true. It's the winter months now and all or most kids have a little cold or runny nose, well these teachers will send kids home that are not sick at all and I've heard that they think it's a game amongst themselves to see how many kids they can send home on any given day. shame on you Cedar Grove elementary !!!!!!

My son has only been attending Lynn Haven Elementary for one year, so I can only provide my experience based off of that short time! That being said, my son has truly enjoyed attending this school, and he absolutely adores his teacher. Up until the 1st grade, he had always enjoyed going to school, and then he kind of lost the desire to want to go last year. He said that school was boring, they just did worksheets all day, and he only really enjoyed recess and gym. That really broke my heart for him! We had lived in North Carolina at the time.Fast forward to his 2nd grade year here at Lynn Haven, and we honestly couldn’t be happier! He has his spark back and I am so truly grateful for that! We are a military family, and the school provides all kinds of extra support to ensure that my son integrates well, which really means a lot to us. They even have a special day set aside to recognize military children! All in all, it really has been an excellent experience!

The school handled my child’s health concern very poorly. An office assistant posing as a nurse minimized her symptoms, communication was confusing, and pickup procedures were disorganized and dismissive. When I raised the issue with the principal, she was defensive and showed no empathy. This experience left me questioning both the school’s professionalism and concern for student safety.
