They tend to accept some minorities who do well academically but Lutz prep has such culturally unaware mentality that leads to isolation of minority kids. The school are also full of bullying. They tend to implement ethnic driven socially isolating practices that will have long last effect on studen
Posted by a parent on 10/1/2023The principal is the issue at this school. She doesn’t want the school rating dropped is what I’m assuming so she sweeps bullying under the rug. She’s not a friendly person and throws her weight around. Instead of taking the proper recourse to end bullying they just push the victim out of the school

Posted by a parent on 4/27/2022I have four kids that attend Lutz Prep. My experience has been great so far. I love that we get teachers that we have had before, it makes them feel like family to us. The middle school program is challenging but it prepares them for success. My oldest got accepted into all of the elite high schools

We have basically had nothing but wonderful experiences here. Our youngest is in 7th grade this year and every year I feel so blessed for the amazing teachers she has! NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIf you are a parent and searching for an upper school for your child, walk away from CDS. Do not be fooled by the pretty campus and smiling faces. This is not a place where they care about your child or put the child's needs ahead of the school--they ONLY care about the money coming in and the reputation of the school . There is a sickness in the administration. Don't get me wrong, there are some good people and good teachers there. The problems come from the administration. If you encounter any problems of any kind, they will close ranks and defend the school at all cost. They will side with the biggest donor, they will manipulate you to keep your tuition flowing.
