We had two years of teachers who could not grasp that children don't come out of cookie cutters and chose to move our son to a different school district. Good luck to you if you have a child that learns in a different way than "normal," or if you don't accept the status quo as good enough.

Lawtey Community school is just that - A "COMMUNITY" school! Staff, parents, and kids are one big family. Wouldn't want to be anywhere else! :)

I went to Lawtey K-6th and enjoyed it! Given the limited options in this area, Lawtey is definitely the best. Classes are relatively small and most of the teachers are phenomenal. Also an interesting fact, when I moved up to the local high school (I was homeschooled 7th and 8th) I found that though
