Read what parents are saying about Pinellas Park High Schooli’ll be a junior next year and i’ve already faced more homophobia and ableism than i have in my 16 years of living.

Posted by a student on 5/20/2019This school claims to be a “b” rated school. I guess they get that grade because they force any students with a GPA if 2.0 and under to transfer to another school. They fail at their job of teaching and then pass the child along.
Posted by a parent on 2/13/2018I've been attending this school for my whole high school career, and i must say, the teachers that teach the upper level students are wonderful for the most part. They know what they're doing and preparing us all for the future as we enter the next major part of our lives. However, the "average" or "lower" classes (as if there is much of a difference) are absolutely terrible on both ends. The students are disrespectful towards the teacher and the teachers show little or no respect towards the students. Not to mention the "Campus Monitors" have literally no control over the "mall" and they don't care to either.
Posted by a student on 3/3/2015Not a very good school. Some teachers give you no homework, some give you too much, and some just tell you to drop out! (Seriously, the whole class was told this on more than one occasion.) There are a select few really great teachers in CJA, but there are equally as bad who do not help students at all. The "mall" like design of the school makes changing classes extremely crowded, unpleasant, and leaves no time to visit your locker. Troublemakers also run rampant in the halls.

She won’t solve any bullying issues or any other issue a student has. Recently my cousin and my own sibling had gotten injured in this school and they did not want to let us review the camera footage of how they got injured saying it was due to “privacy violation”. Though the FERPA allows to. This school is alright, the principal is not. I do not recommend this school solely because if your child encounters any problems and a parent decides to confront the principal about it, she won’t help at all.Other Review2y ago - Pinellas Central Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo NOT send your kids here. Trust me, don't. Even if you're zoned for the school, drive your child elsewhere. We've been on 5 school waiting lists for 3 years desperately trying to get our now 5th grader out of this school. My child has been bullied every single day, every single year here to the point of needing administration intervention, WHEN WE GET IT, and daily guidance counseling. The teachers let these kids scream, beat and shove each other, throw things, smashing school provided technology, it is constant chaos everyday for children who actually want to learn. If you have a children with special needs, it's even worse, and they'll be thrown into classrooms with kids screaming at them and making fun of them everyday.Children with NO existing behavioral issues are given referrals for tiny infractions without any contact to the parents, no calls, nothing. There is no scaling, warnings, alternative punishment for good kids who make small mistakes..But children who have literally assaulted other kids DAILY get a slap on the wrist, most teachers watch and do absolutely nothing to help kids that are being treated awful by their peers everyday. There is no structure, there is no empathy, the staff are burnt out and make excuses for why the school is a mess, but this isn't happening everywhere! You will become exhausted and disheartened by the daily stories of stress your child is going through at the hands of both adults and children here.Skyview is failing our children. Miserably. And if you're not wealthy enough to afford private school, or lucky enough to get into a free fundamental or charter school, you will have to watch your child suffer here everyday.Don't move here, don't let your poor kids attend this school.Parent Review2mo ago - Blossom Montessori School For The Deaf
