The school was just all around bad for my children should have home schooled.It is one step above a prison with the types of kids that attend. Fights gun lock downs drugs prostitution it was a mess.

Staff needs to have a good attitude and presentation, they need to speak on a professional way not like we are stupid when we are trying to solve a problem

If your child has never been bullied and you would like to keep it that way then do not send them to Winston Academy in lakeland fl. The children are not too young to bully at this school. For both of my children have been punched and choked in the restrooms of this school. If you think the principal will do something about that, your sadly mistaken. He will then tell you your feelings are valid and do nothing to these children that are causing the problems over and over so then you need to teach your child to defend themselves. If your child needs to use the restroom during class time make sure you bring a special form from your child's doctor stating they may use the restroom because it doesn't matter if your child is im ki departed or 5th grade the teachers will tell your student to either man up and hold it or tell them they have to wait until the lesson is over. So if you like the man up option for a small child and your child to be choked and hit with nothi.g being done, well then this is the school for you.

i love it here its awesome though we lost some great teachers it still is awesome and we have so many traditons it is awesome and i have grown in smartness andd in heart. they will support u and if u need extra help they have some good programs. really recomendd
