Lake Placid Elementary School

The tardy bell is 7:25 which is very early for elementary. The principle has zero leadership... kids that are violent and a distraction to the class aren’t dealt with and the class suffers.. the only good thing about this school is the teachers.

There are some very knowledgeable teachers at this school and they do their best to teach students who are growing up in an age that is increasingly dependent on technology and less on the real world. They do a good job on engaging the students.

Lake Placid Elementary is a wonderful school in many ways. The teachers are caring, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic. They are passionate about helping their students learn. My son is also ADHD and the teachers were great! They carefully worked with us to help him thrive with appropriate accommodatio

If your child is high functioning autistic, do NOT send them here! This school does not have the knowledge of the disorder nor the resources to properly educate children with special needs. The district has minimal resources but anyone with a special needs child knows that minimal is not sufficient.
